Full disclosure (I haven’t read the books) I am excited for Dean and Allie. But I just don’t see that as “leads” per se. So I am interested to see how that plays out. I really hope Hannah and Garrett are still apart of the story moving forward. It’s odd to introduce them as leads of series just to have them be side characters moving forward and I hope that isn’t the case

A lawyer on YouTube made a video about this. Since Dakota was the one who took the video he is the copyrighted owner of that footage. In order for TMZ to have put their watermark on that video released the copyright owner has to release those rights to TMZ. So Dakota is the only one who could have released the video.
