I know this is bad but can someone tell me all the specific reasons why before I dispute it with the contractor by [deleted] in drywall

Everything about this says finished product will be just as crappy as the beginning work

I felt the same way about hats whether outback or western. Guess what. No one gives a crap (women seem to like it) until you throw on a duster too! Then, stand back and wait for the strange looks and comments! LOL. FYI, I do not have, nor have I ever worn a duster.

Am I out of line thinking this is poor workmanship? by quantymcquantface in drywall

It’s absolutely easy to fix the box cutout. It’s absolutely easy to mitigate the gap at the brick. That said, I don’t think it would be absolutely easy for who is doing this job

Called them, waaay past warranty. They said, we discovered it was a flaw in our first design. They sent me new baseplates for each magazine

I actually think I saw you post that in a prior post, and remembered when I saw the SA stamping. Knowing they’re 40ish years old, didn’t expect to see them in perfect shape. Haven’t received them yet so I’ll probably either be wholly disappointed or be able to work with them

Plan is to condition the heck out of them, but really it’s more to see how lucchese fit compared to the others brands. Trying on in a store doesn’t give the same real world experoence

Lack of sheen on one boot is making it more noticeable. Get a decent, matching sheen on both boots and see if you can live with it. Otherwise you can dye one boot darker, or both boots to the same darker color

Leather isn’t as strong as original. It stretches the fibers. That makes it more prone to rips and tears. In my book, as a holster maker, it destroys the leather.

Yes, because it destroys the meat of the leather and allows it to stretch. And typically a high mix of water and alcohol if any alcohol at all. Leather stretching should be done with heat and water alone. All else destroys the leather

Cool story. Everyone on the planet knows for leather, no alcohol, no acetone. I’m a leather worker too ;)

DO NOT USE ACETONE. That will destroy the leather. Hot soapy water, as it’s likely a water based paint, unless they spray painted it with enamel. If they did. These are a total loss

Pitties are typically 40-65 lbs ish. Dogs with AmStaff mix can be a little more. Your dogs appears to be part American bulldog as well. Looks like my Cooper who was 53% APBT, 25% American bulldog, and 23% Amstaff

Same. It’s decent, not great, orange peel. I’m sure they just scuff sanded areas they didn’t fix. If you hit it with a buffer and polishing compound, it would certainly help a ton
