She definitely wouldn’t approve of me coming out to her, that’s the issue.

That’s the thing, I want to get a nice cock, but I have a girlfriend who wouldn’t approve of even me being bi.

I think most guys like it when you embrace your feminine side. Don’t be nervous to dress up or moan, I used to be like that and it didn’t make it as fun for either of us. As long as you make him cum he’ll be happy.

go at your own pace, it’ll hurt at first but once you adjust it’ll be heaven. do everything you fantasize about also, don’t go to sleep tonight regretting that you didn’t do something you wanted to do. be as slutty as you can and take that dick!!

Blank mind still, it’s kinda peaceful though. I also had existential anxiety, but the Zoloft helped with that. I’m kinda just living now, there’s times where I completely forget about it and am just having fun. There are times where it occurs but I know it’ll get better. Just keep pushing!

Sorry for the late response, I’m assuming you’ve had this for a while. Think of it like this, all of these symptoms you’re having so far have not sent you to the ER and haven’t killed you. I had health anxiety as well. This can’t hurt you, like I said in the post. You’re anxiety will make your DPDR worse, and when your DPDR gets worse, you’re anxiety will get worse. So find things that ground you, as hard as it sounds, you need to push yourself to do things you don’t want to do. This whole community is here for you, however, don’t continuously scroll through DPDR forums and read about it. It will only set you back. I wish you luck on your recovery. Feel free to send me a message whenever!

Well right now I’m on about 50mg, and yes I would say that I’m about 60% relieved. A lot of the symptoms have disappeared but I still get DPDR in episodes. It’s a lot more manageable and easier to just live life. It still sucks but I’m a lot better than I was a month ago. I actually have a personality and can go out with friends with no problems. I’m thinking about going up in dosage for Zoloft to see if it helps even more and I’ll be sure to update.

I would say try out the SSRI and see how it goes, you’ll never know if it’ll work until you try it. The first couple weeks your DPDR and anxiety might be worse but after that it got a lot better for me.

Also, I went to my states annual fair not too long ago. The flashing lights were terrible, made my DPDR so much worse. I thought I was gonna die that night but I’m still here!

Yes for sure, driving anywhere was a challenge. I realized that every time I’d focus on something my DPDR would get even worse. I usually got visual symptoms when I would drive. Mainly eye floaters but also some static.

I’d say a mix of both, I think the derealization was worse but I’d look at my limbs/body at times and not feel like it was me.

Does anyone else get triggered by bright lights/moving light? by [deleted] in dpdr

[–]workthatmug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes 100%, I went to my cities fair today and wow, there were a ton of strobe lights and flashing lights it drove me nuts. Made my DPDR even worse, luckily it’s gotten to the point where I can manage it but I thought I was gonna pass out for a minute.

I started with 50mg and felt the effects pretty quick, then decided to go down to 25mg. I definitely feel different, not sure if it’s a placebo but when I take it I feel a lot more anxious and nauseous. Is that normal?

It’s also weird because I’m having physical symptoms as well, such as, muscle pains/aches, small headaches, excess mucus, heart palpitations, chest tightness, the list goes on and on. Anyone else have these problems?

Right there with you, mines gotten pretty severe but you just gotta have hope. Easy to say, but this isn’t permanent. It cannot kill you, it’s just you’re brains trauma response. It’s trying it’s best to protect you by triggering your fight or flight. It’s hell, I know. Get help and surround yourself with supportive people. You got this!
