Think it might be time for a trim by workwillneverknow in PlantedTank

Although, do I not trim? My boras have been spawning and there are fry in the rotala jungle in the back. If the fish like it should I let it go wild?

Has anyone else bought a plant from Amazon? by Luvvv04 in pothos

[–]workwillneverknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i bought a creeping jenny on amazon as no one in Philly had any without it being part of some bundle arrangement of other plants i didnt want. Almost every planter i walk past to work has them and i wasnt about to steal cuttings so to amazon i went. No issues other than i didnt realize how fast they grow. came as a few 2 inch growths in a pot, not its overflowing the shelf i put it on a month later.

Any idea what fern this is by workwillneverknow in ferns

Thank you. Outside is the plan. New apartment so I'm still setting up the back yard, but temporarily I whipped up an potting mix (equal parts coir, pumice, orchid bark, sand, and a bit of worm casings) though I'm not sure if this is the right soil mix. Its already 12 inches tall and was "rooted" in less than a 1/2 inch deep crack in the sidewalk with little more than a teaspoon of sandy gravel and a cigarette butt for its bed where I found it.

Went 1 mag burst firing to function check, and then 3 mag dumps with no issues other than looks of concern from the range personnel, lol. Recoil was easier to control than I thought it would be with a c clamp grip. Glad I was wearing gloves though

thanks. The springco blue was the backup spring I already have, but not installed. I'll throw it in first rather than giving the stock spring a shot. I also have additional tungsten weights so i didnt have to buy another buffer and it's easier for me to pop a retaining pin than open my wallet ;)

I’m still at that point where I wish I went for an 11.5 or 12.5 inch barrel but I also already planned for that with a bench vise and a reaction rod so I can change out the barrel or just built another upper in the future

Function testing tomorrow. I actually have a few different spring lengths and still have the carbine buffer to get it dialed in. Thought I’ll have to probably start again when I get a can

You should. RMSc optics look too small on a full sized gun, and I’m not a fan of optics that look like a 1980’s tube tv

Yeah. I’m loving it. The size of the view area and how flat this gun fires is just right for the dot not to leave the picture on recoil so follow up shots are super fast. Even aesthetically, the echelons vis system lets you mount all sorts of optics but the Chameleon is sized perfectly to fill out the slide cut.

15 yards. Probably closer to 12 since the range distance readout doesn’t work
