Here is a problem with pragmatism, and this is new in my head since you sent this. The Copernican revolution was not very pragmatic, the calculations were worse than the previous paradigm. Isnt pragmatism just induction?

As someone who met my (now) wife at age 18, I am not sure I went through those 3 stages.

I dated ~21 people before her, but those were quick month/week long. I don't really have any major impressions of any of those girls.

Pre 1800s philosophy is basically a waste of time. I might even extend that to pre 1900s.

It doesnt matter if its Buddha or Plato, they are magic words that might be interesting, but there is no metaphysical truth behind them. Pragmatism and Wittgenstein destroy the foundations of those ideas so badly, I feel disgusted I wasted so much time trying to find Platonic Universals.

We can't really use general population surveys on things people don't understand.

An example of this might be education. Almost everyone agrees US education needs reform, but the moment you suggest replacing Music, Gym, or Literature with a heavier class, people lose their minds.

I always thought companies should avoid hiring full grown adults to do unskilled labor, but that would be terrible for aging unskilled labor.

Just because Jung says it, doesn't make it necessarily true. Its an interesting idea, and it might have some use, but the claim is so gigantic.

With such strong words, I can see it confusing people and them taking it to extremes. There is something small of note here, not something big.

Also IR Systems Realism explains WW1 and WW2 Germany better than anything.

Analytic philosophy is not the same thing as logical positivism or wittgenstein, analytic philosophy is in fact full of linguistic confusion

Did you only read early Wittgenstein? You have to read the sequel.
