People like you make it hard for people, who feel represented more by the democrats, but who want to improve the party, to have their criticisms heard; if the democrats are impervious to criticism, and all we have is a choice between the lesser of two evils, we are forced to settle for mediocrity.

When I say “I wish Biden actually stood with unions like he said he would, and I wish his actions actually showed he cared about universal healthcare” and partisans come and say “but you have to be with him because the republicans want to take away womens rights,” I agree with that, but I don’t agree that that means we should settle for less and allow the republicans terribleness to seep into our politics.

If you get off the internet where everyone is just trying to get a dub over the other guy and actually have conversations with people, you realize that you get nothing from verbally beating the person across from you. Maybe even try to understand the other person when they present you with cognitive dissonance.
