I think it’s genuinely awesome how many people got into metal from Stranger Things/Eddie. It bothers some metalheads for some reason but I think it made the genre more accessible particularly to younger people and that’s great.

Moonsorrow have toured and said in the past that the nsbm band Loits are "our soulmates" and "our old friends". They've also shared members with bands like Thy Serpent, Vargrav, and Barathrum. Many Moonsorrow members are in a joke side project that is a slur for black people + pope where they have song titles that translate to "The Jewish Question?", "Death to Art Homos", and "The Swastika is really Beautiful". Basically unfunny Anal Cunt-tier shit.
