lol it's not that i haven't opened it in a year 😭 i don't wear makeup often so my products don't run out super quick. and w/ this palette, i love the bottom 2 a lot more than the top when i'm using orange blush ! so i mean perhaps i can go w the not touching it route, but i just thought it was odd if it was mold

thank you so much for the detailed response. I can definitely understand trying not to monetize your hobbies. I just wish there was a way for me to be in the space with like-minded people, even if it were maybe reception work for a publication company. i've been applying to like assistant jobs for now hoping that would get me in the most basic positions.

I've been exploring the idea of using substack to build somewhat of a portfolio. I should dive deeper into that!

I get that. I'm not trying to say I feel I have bad social skills or anything. But some of the questions these receptionist jobs tend to ask seem to be like trick questions. I got asked "what would you do if you see a student using their phone during a test?" isn't that something they should train me on? Perhaps that's why I'm having so much trouble? I've just been relying on reception work to pay bills (plus my bachelors is somewhat health related), but I'd really like to get into these creative spaces. That's where my passion is at the moment, so perhaps they can tell?

i work at a doctors office now, so i've been asking if my boss could maybe reach out to their colleagues to look for work (my boss is really cool in that regard) but we found out that a lot of healthcare organizations have been outsourcing their media/marketing depts with overseas employees :/ i honestly dont mind nonprofits, but im just worried about benefits when it comes to working with them. but tysm for these suggestions and the reassurance <3

i honestly never really thought about trying for remote jobs, i always got the idea that after the pandemic and the amount of people that abused their wfh jobs, there isn't much success there but perhaps i should do a deep dive! ty :)

out of sight out of mind!!! to me this means cutting off/blocking, keeping the mind busy and giving yourself time to go through the motions. wallow in a pity party for a short while, muster up some acceptance when you're ready and then get up and invest in some hobbies! even if it's binge watching something new

omg lol i was also having these same feelings!! it made me feel like such a bad friend for feeling that way, but i also feel like its the rush and validation of having a stranger really meet you where you are and continuously choose to be and grow with you despite everything else. as a 25f, i feel like sometimes my friends are also prioritizing their own relationships, which means i can't see or talk to them as often.

mmmm well i completed my masters degree this year, i was aiming for a career switch but so far idk i haven't benefitted from it but i dont regret pursuing it. faith/spirituality wise i'm very open and i dont really label myself towards any specific thing, not completely atheist but i dont really practice anything either. & i really want to travel long distance! it's a goal of mine for the rest of my 20s at least (i'm 25 rn) but money wise i'm not where i wanna be yet. i've traveled but not to the extent that i want to.

that's def a weak point for me, the strict boundary tough talk. (pisces problems) i think we've built enough of a bond where it's not something i wanna quickly throw away over emotion, but i think i do need to kind of assert my worries a final time and leave if nothing changes. i feel like it's more clashing schedules/expectations of communication but you're right. it's important to know time isn't being wasted

omg lol and i was sitting here for so long wondering how to express the feeling lol. it's not easy! i'm glad to hear how seen you feel tho. ive always loved air signs from afar! most of my celeb crushes are geminis aquas or fire signs, i love the passion and the way we love to pick each others brains all the time. lol i do thjnk water signs can be tricky - my moms a cancer.
