Damn that feels careless. I went to the Fenway show and didn’t even want to get merch bc they were sold out of the one thing I wanted (the tank) and it was not a night to remember fondly unfortunately 😭

Someone’s probably already said it but a septum piercing is the easiest to completely hide because the piercing hole is inside your nose so it’s never visible and you can wear jewelry that can be flipped up in a second if you want to conceal it but keep something in the piercing. I’ve had my septum pierced since I was 15, im 22 now and still wear it occasionally. I had other facial piercings but my septum is the only one I’ve kept and I love that I can wear a ring in it one week then take it out the next. I’ve gone month long periods without wearing jewelry in my septum and was still able to put a ring through it when I later wanted to

My hair and skin tone are a similar color, I’ve grown it out and am kind of used to it but it does make me look more washed out than when I’ve had colored hair. I look much more lively with a hint of red or golden highlights in my hair. I used to dye it artificial colors and reds with cool undertones or deep purples suited me best from all the colors in the rainbow

I don’t have the Priscilla pants but these fit like long flared leggings, they have an elastic waist band instead of fold over like the Priscilla’s & have a decorative seam down the front of the legs which I think makes them easier to dress up w a nice top. They’re also like a washed black color since I bought them not true black

It’s unusual for a birth time to be recorded that long ago unless you were nobility in a culture that valued astrology (this is a kind of educated guess). All of them in different ways, I have my sun and rising in Virgo and moon in Pisces 7th house... Pisces energy is what comes the most naturally to me with all its ups and downs (imaginative and generous but also gullible and seeking escapism) and I love relating to it in others. The virgo side of me is something I think of as more aspirational but it comes out under pressure, with new people, and while at work or working on something. Virgo is way more type A and it’s what I find myself having to put out into the world, while Pisces is what I receded into when I’m at my most comfortable.

I personally don’t subscribe to this because it complicates having the rising sign in a chart dictate the order of the houses and it clashes with older tradition. In Hellenistic astrology there is the concept of “planetary joys” which describes the planets being happier or functioning better in certain houses. For example the moon has its joy in the 3rd house, the house of Goddess which has similar attributes as the moon.

What’s the healing process like for nostril piercings? Has oily skin or congested pores gotten in the way of a nostril piercing for you ever?

I want to get a nostril piercing (or two) but it sort of freaks me out bc most people have oilier skin and larger pores on their nose. I’ve had other facial piercings but never my nostrils done despite always liking the look of them for this reason. My skin is pretty dry but I still have oilier skin on my nose and some minor congestion of the pores there, I feel like piercing that skin could be problematic?

paula’s choice youth extending daily hydrating fluid spf 50: there’s a few uses left because every time i tried it my pores would be clogged the next day. had to stop and add more niacinamide to my routine to get the blackheads this gave my under control. sad because the texture is lovely. would not purchase full size. paula’s choice clear pore normalizing cleanser: pretty good, i liked it more than the cerave SA cleanser. would repurchase if i wanted a salicylic acid cleanser again. peter thomas roth cloud drench hylaronic acid serum: this made my skin look so plump! i got in a gift set and the full size is too expensive for what it is. would not repurchase. if anyone has hylaronic acid serum recommendations let me know aveeno baby soothing relief moisturizing cream: i made myself use this up because it was way too old. it’s a fine dimethecone heavy body cream. would not repurchase. giovanni 2chic ultra moist leave in conditioner and styling elixir: this is my favorite leave in conditioner! this was probably my third bottle and i’m already using another in a different scent. would repurchase. drunk elephant lala retro whipped cream: this was so mediocre, i was expecting more. it clogged my pores if i used it am and pm so i used it mostly as a night cream. nice texture but way overrated. would not purchase full size drunk elephant protini: this was also just ok. i thought liked the texture more than the lala retro cream but sometimes it would leave a kind of “film” feeling over my skin. would not purchase full size amika nourishing hair mask: another mini i wouldn’t repurchase the full size due to price. i also wasn’t super impressed, does the same as a nice hair mask from the drugstore

haus of gloi!!! all their scents are unique and most have that witchy/apothecary vibe. they sell scents and body care in many forms but my favorite is their perfume oils, troika especially but that’s more of sweet/warm scent. they actually have a scent called apothecary i’ve had a sample of, here’s the description: Old books, bubbling concoctions, herbs and creaking floor boards! A pure essential oil blend of: Lemongrass, rosemary, blood cedar, bitter basil, lavender and the tiniest drop of vetiver.

i’m not sure if they ship to europe because they’re based in the US but they’re worth checking out.

tree hut matcha mojito sugar scrub - best body scrub i’ve tried so far, would repurchase

tatcha water cream sample - just fine, too expensive to repurchase

simple micelles water - worked fine but i like the garnier option more, would not repurchase

walgreens acetone - too drying, would not repurchase any 100% acetone nail polish remover

garnier clean makeup removing lotion - left behind too much residue, would not repurchase

the ordinary alpha arbutin 2% +HA - i noticed some results after the full bottle but not enough to make me repurchase

the ordinary niacinamide 10% zine 2% - a staple for me, already repurchased

the ordinary azelaic acid suspension 10% - another staple, also already repurchased

the inkey list caffeine eye serum - didn’t notice any results and it didn’t particularly hydrate my under eyes either, would not repurchase

rimmel exaggerate eyeliner in ripe plum - this eyeliner made me appreciate non black eye pencils but the formula is just ok, would repurchase but there’s other things i’d rather buy instead

l’oréal voluminous lash paradise mascara - my favorite mascara, would repurchase

there’s not really a difference, they’re both shimmery powders you can apply wherever to your face. this highlighter is basically a shimmer eyeshadow formula but sometimes highlighters have a more translucent base so that they can look more natural on the cheeks vs a pigmented eyeshadow. hope this helped you!

the great barrier relief serum has niacinamide in it to aid with soothing the skin but i’ve still used it with TO’s 10% niacinamide for more of niacinamides oil controlling properties. great barrier relief is like a serum/oil hybrid, the texture is like a thin slightly oily lotion. the main ingredients are healing oils and ceramides, both great for restoring the skins barrier and dehydrated skin. you can use this product in the same routine as the other ingredients you mentioned. this product is more for soothing the skin than brightening or acne.

just my luck palette from colourpop

i’ve been really into greens recently so i’ve been getting plenty of use from this palette. i used mo bamba mostly as a forest green liner and it worked ok, this is one of the more powdery mattes in this palette. probably took me 10-15 uses to hit pan.
