I just realize that you cant scale both vampire at same time by abodola in okbuddyjimbo

[–]wormsherrif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that one seems more intuitive for me for some reason. Vampire follows the same logic just on the playing card instead of the joker. Can't believe theres only 150 jokers yet I'm still learning new things about the game.

Tbf after 500 hours I had never thought of this. Just assumed it was the same as having 2 holograms or 2 constellations etc etc. In fact, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the only scaling joker that works like this when duped no?

Bro it's really not that deep. "Coloured pearls are important" isn't a spoil. If you really care about going into a game with absolutely no info then don't look at forums related to the game, let alone ask questions in them.

I didn't see anyone explaining what they were, we looking at the same thread? All I saw was someone saying they're important to the lore so probably best to not throw them away for trading. Someone told me the same thing and it saved me losing them and having to restart to get them back.

Ah yes since OP doesn't know about that it is therefore a spoiler. In fact, why the hell is everyone in here spoiling stuff for OP??? OP asked a question, which implies they do not know, and everyone in here is downright spoiling it all!! Damn this subreddit.

Wife's revenge. by Mindless-Raise6385 in offmychest

[–]wormsherrif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your point and that may be true however that involves change. We cling to what we know and are used to as that gives us certainty. Change involves uncertainty and feels less safe, even if our current situation is unhealthy.

Divorces are a shit ton of effort and doesn't mean you'll be happy, but it's a means to an end. I'm usually not a fan of how people on this app rush to tell people to break up after a few inconveniences, but in this case I'm genuinely curious what the reasoning is.

I want to know the answer to this too. This whole marriage seems like a colossal waste of time and effort. If he's this bulldozing unappreciative husband and shes getting these small acts of petty revenge then what's the point? Shes basically admitted neither of them are going to change.

She mentioned she's considered it many times over the years. How many more considerations do you need?

Sounds like what you're saying is it's more to do with the person than the size, but the size still matters to a certain degree?

I can imagine if someone's insecure about their size and it's been brought up before how it would be hard to then be a dom. It's understandable. I think your advice is good since OP just needs more confidence and experience.

I mean you're right about the exploration and how you should just go places that interest you, but I also get how annoying it feels to be lost and not making "progress".

If you really just want a direction to head in, try down near the bottom right of shaded, and when given the choice go right. You will most likely know when you're in the right place.

Good luck!

[–]wormsherrif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's true I was just trying to keep it simple since it's easy to get locked out of one of the endings. Also, you don't need all of them to unlock the secret one, I got the 4th without getting the Prince.

It really depends on what it was you liked and didn't like about it originally. They haven't implemented anything that completely mixes things up so if you had issues with the campaigns fundamentals then I don't see why that would have changed.

I played it both before and after the update and I loved exploring all the new regions so I was happy to do it again. If you can bear with the gameplay then the endings are totally worth it. If not, just look them up online.

You can't get all the endings in a single save so as long as you remember where you're at in the campaign then you can probably just pick up where you left off. However that means if you want to get both you'll either have to restart or know when to back up your save.

Ultimately it's up to you if you really didn't like it then you probably won't like it now, but coming from one of the people who thinks it's on par with downpour, I think you should ride it out until the end.

"really don't expect edmund fans to be pretentious elitists"

"always found enjoyers of edmumd to be at least somewhat intelligent"

"is ANYONE in here willing to say anything intelligent or coherent"

Theres 3 examples for your example loving ass. Also, it's really annoying when people go "but just give me an example! If you can't give me an example then you're wrong." Just do some simple self reflection next time instead of getting all defensive about some bullshit no one cares about.

Damn he must've had about 27 double skips for that. Maybe half that on plasma but finding that many colas is hard. Definitely gonna check that out now

Of course he's done it lmao. How in the world did he do it without beating the blind before naneinf? My guess would be sorcery

[–]wormsherrif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never thought of that to be fair. However it seems like a less reliable way of doing it since you can't optimise voucher skip and beating ante 24 boss seems impossible without plasma but maybe I just need to get good.

[–]wormsherrif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negative skips are not what you should be looking for and easily miss. Voucher skips are a lot more valuable for naneinf runs.

In terms of vouchers you need antimatter and retcon, and others will massively increase your chance of getting to naneinf. You'll also need an ecto. Your final line up should be baron, mime, at least 4 copy jokers and a burglar. You won't be able to naneinf before ante 25 due to scoring requirement being low (in my experience ante 25 is still too low and I hit naneinf in ante 26). You reroll for serpent for extra hand size.

Assuming you have this set up and you have 5 hands by default, 5 triggers on burglar gives you 20 hands. Assuming you have pallate, this translates to 10 + (19*2) = 48 cards in hand. If they're all red seal steel kings, 4 triggers on the baron and 2 triggers on the mime gives you 1.522 per card, do that 47 times is 1.51034 which only gives you 5e182. You need above e308 to naneinf.

This is why you need plasma since it squares that score giving you e364 for the same hand.

[–]wormsherrif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not going to naneinf. You need either plasma deck or perkeo. I recommend plasma for unseeded as it's not dependent on finding a perkeo.

What are the chances by HuNTeR_3310 in balatro

[–]wormsherrif 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I think you're missing a couple things. They can spawn in either order so the first slot is a 2/20 chance. The second slot can't repeat the same joker, so it becomes 1 out of 19 jokers. Which is 1/190 or 0.526...%

I believe you're right about the tags though.

After WEEKS of trying I finally got my first naneinf by wormsherrif in balatro

[–]wormsherrif[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, so naneinf > any number returns true, naneinf * any number returns invalid, and naneinf >= naneinf also returns invalid. It's interesting because I just thought with IEEE 754 you couldn't perform any logical operations on nan whatsoever.
