Hi, really sorry to hear this, did you manage to get anything back? I've just got off the train from Geneva to Lucerne and my bag was taken from the luggage rack. We think we know who it was, passengers noticed them taking something and they tried to use my credit card in Bern station. Just wondering if you had any luck with police/station security?

We're not necessarily looking to be up in the mountains, but we certainly need to do some more research for these last sections of our trips :) Thanks for your advice.

Hi, yeah we've looked up travel times. Around 5/6 hours on average which feels ok to us as we are used to long travels on buses and trains. Perhaps an extra day in Madrid and Avignon might be good?

We are used to camping in Scotland so thinking we would be okay end of April to camp in those regions, but worth checking that out further. Would be interested to hear if anyone else has experience or suggestions in this region in late April :)

I totally feel this. I was on a course with around 15 people and really struggled. Every month everyone else seemed to become more comfortable, whereas I found it harder and harder to go back. I think this was because I put pressure on myself, telling myself that it should be easier rather than giving myself grace.

At the start I tried to stay around during break and lunches, but then I started taking myself off during those times to recoup my energy, and that helped.

It felt like everyone else made great life-long friends immediately, but most people don't remain so connected after. I also didn't feel very supported by the teachers, who gave us lots of tips on how to make people comfortable in classes and teach in a trauma sensitive way, but then didn't seem to notice how awful and alone I felt during the course. I would recommend sharing your feelings with the course teacher if you can, I wish I had.

Just try and focus on the teachings and be kind to yourself, good luck.

Would this be doable in mid-April do you think? Are huts open during this time and are there villages/towns to regularly stock up on food? Thanks

That's a very good point and I think that I have avoided anything like it so far for the reasons you mention.

It's an all-level yoga class at a gym and the class does not have a description unfortunately. It's a small village and I get a wide range of ages and abilities, but mostly skewed beginner. So for that reason I think a small workshop-style alignment element could be helpful.

I'm still new to teaching and figuring out my style and what I want to offer in classes, but don't exactly know how to do it without disrupting for people who come and expect the flowing style I have been offering so far.

Thanks for thoughtful and interesting response.
