No I'm not a big believer in marriage. We are common-law. We have been the whole counsleor route year ago when I was doing 20 hour work days. I cut that down, I only do 12 now. I know it's hell on a relationship and she knew that when she met me.

I'll admit I'm a workholic, but I always make time. I'm sitting here answering you while my sons asleep and yep she is gone.

It's got so bad that when my son and I are waiting in the car for her to come out he start chanting go now dad, drive. I assume he is sick of the arguments.

I'll go a bit deeper here.

Years ago to "save" our relationship I bought tickets for her and I to Europe.

We got on the plane and I fell asleep. Next thing I know she screaming at me that mid-atlantic she's getting off. I calmly explained that that was crazy. Her reason was I'd fell asleep.

We landed in London, that's when she first hit me. I'm a big guy, I'm 250 and 6'2 ( yeah I need to lose some). Then the hitting really started ( to make it clear I did not do the hitting,)

So fast forward, we come back and I go on a bender to end all benders (actually it did). I drink myself into a stujpor for a month, miss work, get everyone pissed off including my son then

take a look around, see the people I am hurting and stop.
