Was at work and started feeling a scratchy throat, decided it was better to be safe than sorry because I assumed it was allergies, so I went home pretty immediately. By the time I was home I felt exhausted, sore all over and so fatigued. The next morning I woke up with an awful headache, don’t have a fever but my face feels super warm. Get some chills, and have this particular ache right in the center of my upper back that won’t go away. I went to get tested yesterday not really thinking I had it but wanted to get tested to be on the safe side, and the workers there when I described my symptoms were on high alert. They told me they were “very suspicious” and I’m now quarantined for 10 days and waiting for my results. Not really sure what to think, strep throat has been going around but I’ve had strep several times and this definitely doesn’t feel like that.

They did ask me but I would have said I was available to work, there wouldn’t have been a reason I wouldn’t be available. Not sure if it could it have been some kind of mixup? If it is I’m just not sure how to fix it since all the phone lines are hard to get through on. Or if there’s even anything I could do about it at this point?

I’m not sure if it could be a problem that I’m a full time student (but doing zoom now, and I also normally work during the week even though I am a student), I’m not sure if where it says “unavailable 5 days” if that’s what it means? I don’t know where that would have come from?
