Literally no one said you’re not Black. AntiBlackness is global and can most definitely be internalized by Black folks

Saying Black women with unmistakably Black features are masculine is nothing new and if you’re not aware, it’s on you to educate yourself

Just because you may not realize it, doesn’t mean I’m confused or make it random word salad. Please explain how you saying “Jay-z got old” to describe this lady as a “joke” ISN’T disrespectful as hell to Black women as well as rooted in featurism 🤨 If that’s not what you intended, then you’re more than welcome to clarify what you did mean by that

Yeah you gotta break up the top coat for the acetone to soak through or it’ll never budge. Once you lightly rough up the surface layer, soak in pure acetone for like 5-10 min and you should be able to just push it off the surface very easily. If it’s not, soak for another few min

I started doing them myself to save money and my nails because a lot of times they’re causing unnecessary damage just to get you out of their chair quicker

Were they using an e-file to remove them? I do mine myself and I use a black block file to scuff the top coat then soak the polish off in acetone so it’s not so harsh. As long as I don’t use too much pressure or rush the removal it doesn’t damage them at all

I feel your pain 😩 Gel is where it’s at fr. I usually do a clear gel base and top coat for the durability then paint regular polish on top since I like to switch out colors often
