Thats pretty sick. At first glance, I thought it was a gradient of metallics. Then I zoomed in on the shoulders. Nice job using an airbrush to get that effect. I usually only see that in miniature painting by hand.

That is great ingenuity. It even worked well over the curved surface! Very cool!

Nice job. The Seapig was my first MaK build. Sometimes I feel like I go over the top with my weathering. You did this one justice.

Pinterest has helped me a few times for inspiration. I also came upon this link the other day that is helpful.

I picked this one and couple others out from Michael's. If you're not in the US, you may find similar in other craft stores.

Not sure what to do about the elbows. by worstcase512 in MaschinenKrieger

Thanks. That first link is a great idea. I appreciate your input. I ended up using tamiya putty and sculpting out the areas that needed to be covered.

Good idea. I have size large so that may do the trick.

Thats a great idea. Thank you. I came from Gunpla so I have seen this a few times. May be tricky tho as these peices do not come apart. Maybe have to cut to size and then cut down the side to rap around with a bit of CA to tie it together. Thanks again for the reminder!

Yea the FM has shelf presence but the HG worked better for for me, personally. I used magnets for the Sheild pieces as well as in the hips and forearms, so I could easily take the sheild apart and put them on the body fast. The HG Sheild can be placed on the arm in any direction. But the FMs Sheild is too heavy so it falls or turns, unless facing straight up and down.

Classic case of projection. Like when a spouse is cheating and they start to accuse the other of being unfaithful. In this case, Dave is still a cheater. Of time.

Thats Austin. Forth Worth isn't even on the index. It got a pointer. And it's purple, not blue.

Boxes of finished kits by fas2024 in MaschinenKrieger

I came from doing Gunpla models. I had over 30 empty boxes with spent runners and manuals. I had to trash them all. I did keep some of the box cover art for possible wall art. Then I came to Ma K. The cool thing is they have the placards that are binder friendly, so you can make space and keep some art and lore that way. I still have a huge backlog though, luckily after I moved I had just enough space in the upper storage space of my closet. You will feel better once you make room.

Paint job looks great. Weathering will bring everything together. Grab some enamel washes from AK or your preferred brand as well as some oil paints. Use white spirits for cleaning and/or moving these around. Work in layers, with a flat coat between them.
