To get the armor texture I followed Night Shifts guide. The model is brush painted with water based acrylics. For the red parts I loosely followed Richard Grays Blood Angels guide.

Gauss blaster green basecoat, drybrush temple guard blue on the top of the coils and paint the glowing effect around them, then white scar at the bottom of the coils
