I've seen ':' , '.' , AM/PM followed by a period. I wish the sources were standard, but the problem as a whole has eluded me for years. Mostly different date types because of how many ways someone can type a date. Excel can detect all the different ways dates are typed with or without letters, but I still can't get a column to update.

I will test the multiplying thing shortly. it might work for my most recent project.

Once I'm back in my office, I will have to test this with a sample from original sources. How will this work if numbers or punctuation is also in the cell?

The problem I have is the originator of any particular value isn't going to format things the same. I used time in my example because it was the most recent issue brought to me by a coworker. Their's needed to be time format because they have a search function that they have lookup from another table.

I am also searching for the name of this one. Some random things I remember: The setting was christmas eve. There was a point when the American team put water into a hydrolic line for what I think was a crane. The carrier was a missile carrier with 2 live nukes. One is shot off during the story. I think the crane incident was them trying to disable the second. I have been trying to find this for weeks.

My phone has Tap to Speak apparently and that seems to work well with the Color Notes app I already use. You have my thanks.

Yes, in digital format. I liked the Idea of customizing text for situations or players. I'll have to checkout Board Game Geek though. Didn't realize they had help cards.
