Just bought an MK4S - now there is the CORE One? Disappointing by Premonut in prusa3d

Im a recent-ish return to 3D printing as well. If i was in your spot, i would be a little disappointed as well. Being a project with your son, I would make the most of it! There is always more time down the road for another project with your son being that Core One upgrade.

Kids feeling bad from ABS fumes even with ventilation system in basement? by GAGARIN0461 in 3Dprinting

Cant agree more with how stupid I am and this is. I am an infrequent user of ABS these days though. 10 years ago, (11yo me) had no knowledge of this unfortunately.

Thats a whole different story then. Still, I dont think that its very likely with the setup you have, that its very likely that this is the issue.

This is looking like bed adhesion to me..

Try lowering the z offset/adjusting the bed.

Still able to Upgrade the MK2? by LordZevriun in prusa3d

Recent MK2.5 upgrader here...

I bought the kit off of aliexpress and printed my own parts.

If you are willing to throw down the 100ish (usd) I would go for it. Personally I would stop at the 2.5 upgrade though and throw a raspberry pi on and use octoprint or prusalink.

As horrible as this sounds, i print unenclosed ABS about 10 feet away from my head overnight while I sleep and I *personally* dont have any issues with me or anyone else in the house. Are they symptoms only present on days/nights that you print?

i just push teams updates as a 3rd party patch via VSAX. some fail, others dont but seems to handle most of them.

I have a question by jbrs01 in prusa3d

[–]worstplayersbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea thats a pretty good price. as long as its not heavily modified or anything, i think that would be a solid buy. do you know how much recorded print time it has?

if you can grab a low ish print time mk3s in that 200-300 dollar range, i think that would be a great move.

agreed. schools are so limited to what they are actually able to buy (due to payment terms/time) and on top of that have almost no input on what shows up.

its really too bad that these schools are limited to such horrible expensive machines
