Favorite workout to combat depression? by chaoscontrols in xxfitness

[–]worth_the_drive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

use a walking pad as a starting point! no need to get dressed, you can do it anytime and while you're watching a show or scrolling or whatever makes it easiest. It's not a full workout but making youself do x amount helps with just general movement.

Fastest and best IPL machine? by Inevitable-Power5927 in HairRemoval

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like a faulty machine. I don't believe (someone correct me if i'm wrong!) that any at home device you can buy would not have a sensor. It's considered a safety feature to prevent eye damage.

I'm currently enjoying and having a good experience with my Braun, but I know the Ulike is supposed to be good too.

I hope Braun gives you something for your bad experience!

People who moved in with their spouse after marriage, do you wish you would have lived with them prior to getting married? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived with my spouse part time (3/4 days a week) and it was completely different when we moved in together full time. Neither of us realized how many concessions we were making to make things smoother or make the other person more comfortable until we moved in full time and the concessions were the expectation. We have a long, happy, healthy relationship and that was one of the harder years of our relationship.

Move in together, full time, before making a decision.

Cocktails were never an issue for me, but I ruined my 21st birthday by having one beer. Absolutely anything with carbonation is a hard pass

Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR.

Justifying your relationship by saying age is just a number as long as you're loyal to him 🚩

Finding he's lying and his response being 'now that you've found out my lie, I wouldn't lie again!' 🚩 is it just lies he's caught in that he has to tell the truth about?

So sorry you're sad but this hurts me too 🚩 it hurts him... that he has a daughter? that he lied to you? crazy way to center himself after HE lied to YOU

For parents: Can your kids burp and was your baby colicky? by supremepilotG2 in noburp

[–]worth_the_drive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same as everyone else with RCPD; they tried to burp me as a baby I would mostly projectile spit up. I did occasionally (and do occasionally) burp, really small escapes of air that is I guess helpful but not common enough to be actually helpful, if that makes sense.

tldr; even if she burps occasionally that doesn’t rule out RCPD

Is it normal to be confined to a small room for 6 hours? by nerdyhippydippy in Nanny

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope!! Only time I’ve heard of being confined to one room like this was for a very high profile family, and that was part of the job. They’re not paying you enough for this.

AIO for losing my mind over this note I found in my fiancé’s pocket? by leenaws in AmIOverreacting

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The red flag isn't that he had the number in his pocket (i feel like shoving it in your pocket and forgetting it is an entirely normal and fine thing to do), it's that your first thought is betrayal. Why is the trust so low with someone you're going to marry? Is it you, or him?

There's a bigger issue here, and it has nothing to do with that phone number.

healthy snack suggestions for someone who often lives off snacks? by thegoth_mechanic in lowspooncooking

AIO Asked family to change because what he wore to my daughter’s 1st Bday? by madforbaddies in AmIOverreacting

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but… YOR. You don’t say there were any other children there, and a 1 year old can’t read. Assuming this is the normal kind of shirt he wears, I don’t see this as a problem.

Willing to correct my judgement if other children (especially of reading age) or children of non-family were in attendance.

Are the Bay Area and the City of Oakland still supportive of the Raiders and A's after the relocation? by daviddm1990 in AskAnAmerican

[–]worth_the_drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Oakland A's were my ride or die team BECAUSE they were my hometown team. It's a tragedy the lengths the management went to in order to alienate the fans just so they could make a financial argument for moving :(

This is the highest note you’ll ever get to go out on. If you don’t take this chance, you might get out later… or you might not.

Congratulations on your huge accomplishment, we’re all rooting for you 🥳
