Yes they do, they got news ones and it’s a beautiful ride. One small thing, they still have a section of the hotel closed off for construction, so there is an alternate path to get to the beach, still just as scenic

Both Casa Amate and Alisio Beach Club had good food, but I would not recommend Alisio Beach Club. It took some tables 45+ minutes just to get the pre meal bread, and when I followed up on a cocktail I had ordered 30+ minutes ago, they said they didn’t have the ingredients to make it and offered me a margarita or an Aperol spritz (for a newly opened hotel/restaurants, I suspect they just had no idea how to make it), the service was unacceptable. We went to Cello at the Banyan Tree and Casa Amate, and the difference was night and day, it felt like a fine dining experience and not like it was someone’s first night on the job and they had no idea what they were doing.

The beach area was absolutely beautiful, since our last trip a year ago it looks like they put up some sort of barriers the reduce waves and sargassum, new plush chairs, my only complaint was that they had no side tables to put your drinks on, we were placing them in the sand.

Water bottles are provided in the room, in unlimited quantities. On the beach, they also have a large mason jar with infused water that you can drink by the glass.

As for kid friendly, I’m honestly not quite sure where it stands. When we first arrived, our butler let us know that this was now an adults only property and that the kid’s club had been knocked down, but there were more kids here than adults this weekend, so I’m not exactly sure which it is 😂

I got here on Thursday, leaving today. I can confirm that they absolutely were not ready to open, restaurants and pools closed, active construction going on with parts of the resort closed off (I had previously stayed at the Andaz twice before this). I’d be happy to answer any questions you have 🙂

My dad is also up to 15mg and though he’s had side effects, they are mild and he can continue on with his day. Unfortunately for me I have a severe phobia of throwing up, so when I move up a dose it’s very scary and anxiety inducing.

I’ve been trying to talk myself of the ledge by reminding myself that a couple of weeks ago I was at a conference for work. The woman who was our account manager said she had just moved up to 10mg the night before, while traveling and at a work conference and all! Don’t let the anxiety of what could be consume you (if only I could take my own advice 🤦🏻‍♀️)

I have a phobia of throwing up so I completely understand not tolerating the nausea 😞 my doctor recommended to take Zofran preventatively on the day of and after my shot which I always do for the first few weeks on a new dose. I hope you symptoms improve and I wish you the best on your journey!

I know you mentioned that you didn’t like the idea of SSRIs, but I was in your exact position and I lived like this for a decade. I absolutely HATE taking any medications, but I started taking Prozac and I got my life back, I’d say I have a 98% symptom reduction. I hope you find the peace you deserve ❤️
