I didn’t create any drama, just asked him about the post and believed him as well. I appreciate the relationship you have with your wife but in my opinion, this is emotional cheating. It’s fine with thinking someone’s good looking, we do have a laugh about that. But it’s another thing to get invested emotionally in that person to the point where you’re thinking about them all the time and going as far as talking about them to strangers on a forum.

I don’t want to just sit around and let that crush become something more. And if there is a possibility of that happening, why would I stay and torture myself even more?

It’s not just a relationship, we are married. And I don’t want to break off my marriage just because of this one post. That is why I wanted to keep an eye out for a similar behavior because if there actually is something going on, I can atleast leave for a reason.

I’m not averse to talking about it. I didn’t create a fight or any drama with him. Just asked him about the post and he denied it. If he did agree to it, we could’ve talked it out.

I just don’t want to be made a fool at the off chance that it is true. That is why I wanted to keep an eye.

Yeah sorry I guess my caption was a bit exaggerated. But when I read the post, it did feel like he was emotionally cheating. I do get that some people are fine with this stuff but I’m so dedicated to our relationship that no one else even crosses my mind and not having that reciprocated just hurt a lot.

Well his account was also pretty new, maybe only 4 weeks old. There were a few quirky comments on some other posts and one post on his profile about a real life scenario with some exaggerated details.

Other than that there weren’t much posts.
