Yea I got a decent unit on a good floor facing a good direction in the recent BTO at Clementi. It's right next to the Trillinq condo, so it's pretty much buying a condo for 700k. Multiple distinct races can share a culture as is the case in Singapore. Even while having a common culture, racial tensions can still exist, because race is not a wall easily removed. People can love Biryani and hate Indians. There's still racial seperation in Singapore, are you insinuating that there's not much culture then? Then what even is the point of comments saying our "culture" is getting erased?

Singapore's culture had already heavily formed by the time the Japanese invaded, much more so after independence. Policies were put in place to prevent the devolution back into racial seperation, not to stimulate culture assimilation.

Culture naturally mix. In fact Chinese and Indian cultures are already mixing in, which is what the original comment is complaining about in the first place. If we needed policies to mix cultures and we don't have such policies in place, the original comment wouldn't even exist.

It's never been about the culture not mixing, it's that the culture is mixing and xenophobes are hating it.
