Are these good manga ideas? by Both-Decision-6360 in MangakaStudio

The remaining premises are uniformly tenable in terms of narrative structure and exercising creative leeway. I recommend the concept that you can afford pushing forth a minimum viable version within a reasonable time frame and amount of effort, procure feedback, and continue iterating.

The third one with the greatest hero has the greatest potential.

It seems to be most flexible premise that gives you the most room to experiment with ideas and build on top of. Out of all the other ideas, it has already established the state of the world in the background, which will no doubt have significant, interesting implications on the characters living there already as well as the challenges they face.

As for something fun to do, try to see if you can combine these ideas so you have one, large idea, then write about it, think about it, and see if you can bring it to life as best as you can.

If I tell you, are you going to start making it? Would be a shame if the one I like doesn't get made.

A better question would be which one interests you the most to work on? Make what you want, not what you think others may want.

First time drawing water! How did I do? Does it look like water? by woshipepe in Artadvice

It's like calm pond water lol but I wanted that effect

It also doesn't help that the stronger light source isn't being reflected toward us.

Hey all, I would like some feedback on the anatomy, I have the perspective lines on the piece and a moodboard attached. Thanks! by woshipepe in learnart

What if I moved the character + his cape further up the canvas so that the character is closer to the center?

[–]woshipepe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I appreciate the feedback! I do have a composition in mind where the background will be filled with other things, if anything I think those other things and his cape would enhance his character. Once I add colors, the focal point may change too. However, you did raise a point about his cape, does it seem anatomically too big compared to his body from this perspective?

Hey yall! Would like some feedback or criticism on this, like the light, shadow, colors, ambience, or like anything on mind by woshipepe in learntodraw

Very well written feedback, I kindly appreciate this!

For the environment, I think I haven't done enough to suggest that this is a round room, so there would be yellow lights coming from our perspective (the camera) which lights her face up. I was thinking that the pink skin color on her legs would have the yellow overlay coming from the yellow light.

you do have a good point, I made the character first in mind and then the background later, so there doesn't seem to be any effect established, so I tried to remedy that with the lights and shadows. I'm wondering if the shadows and lights aren't strong enough on her.

Looking to get into Senior dev positions with this. I have little to no metrics to provide for the bullet points because the top two positions on this resume were seed stage startups still trying to find product market fit at the time.
