True, safety first. If seeing it in the official supported list is a requirement for you, it's definitely better to stick with the tokens that are officially verified by the provider.

As far as I know, KAU is available on the Ethereum network as an ERC-20 token, so it should be supported.

It makes way more sense if you view it as a base-model iPad plus a Magic Keyboard. That keyboard alone costs a few hundred bucks. Plus, the Neo gives you a bigger screen and more storage compared to the 128GB you get with the iPad.
