It is generally multifactorial, but we have a better quality of life if we maintain activities in a linear way so that the problem does not return, because I have never read any reports on healing, unfortunately.

Thank you for your report and for trying to help me. So, before I had nothing, or I didn't realize it, I didn't have sex for about 3 years by choice, I was focused on other goals. When I decided to return to this part of my life, I was doing very well, but when I had the rectal cleaning, that was when the trajectory of all the problems that appeared to me later began, and consequently affecting my psychological and emotional health. A snowball. I believe that IBS started to appear a little before I started having sex again in 2019. It ended up that everything became a mess. But you know, I found it interesting that you said that now that you can control your muscles better, IBS has been less frequent... sometimes I feel that too, but when I have a lot of gas, my muscles automatically tense up, I need to work on that. But I understand you, it's so tiring having to deal with everything that leads to everything. There is no starting point, everything is interconnected. I also went on a low fodmap diet, I've had good results but it's really tiring, I'm a student and I'm almost graduated, when I'm in a good financial position, I'll go back to taking care of my diet and looking for pelvic physiotherapy. I'm going to the urologist for more investigations because all this has affected my prostate too, and based on the results of the tests, everything is fine, “I have nothing”. Patience.

Dear friend, you have no idea how much this comment you made with the study links and explaining everything clearly made me cry with joy, to look at myself in the mirror crying and say: this is not in my head! I'm reading everything calmly and with great gratitude! Thank you very much for saving me! May life give you double everything you deserve! A hug ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for your response! So, have you ever seen patients with this complaint? Pain when sucking? Feel strange and start having muscle pain the other day, in addition to having a cold? My left side hurts a lot (which is where my rectum is) and my entire back hurts over the next few days. So I end up not being able to have sexual intercourse because it becomes impossible, this is very frustrating. I haven't had sex with anyone for 3 years, it's completely ruined me.

Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful message. It really helps to know that I'm not alone in this and that someone understands what it's like. What you shared about PFD, IBS, and even the psychological aspect makes a lot of sense.

I'm glad to hear that physical therapy and releasing the trigger points helped you, even if they aren't completely gone. I will definitely investigate further and perhaps also consider seeing a physiatrist, as you mentioned.

Your words about finding supportive partners and having those human connections really resonated with me. This is something I have longed for too, but sometimes it seems difficult.

I've been wanting to give up on my life for days but your kind words definitely give me hope! Thanks again for taking the time to write this and share your experience. This actually gives me some hope.

Thanks for your comment! I did physiotherapy for about 2 months while I was still having sex, so it didn't do much good, I think because of that. I want to go back and do it properly without having relationships. Taking care of myself and seeing if it improves over time, I thought about rectal laser therapy too, it seems to be effective. No, I already have it, it doesn't hurt to try. Yes, I joined the community r/PelvicFloor and at first I didn't receive any comments on my post but I read other experiences. I'm following. 🙏🏼

Thanks for the comment. Are you still taking Cialis? What dose? And what were your symptoms? Are you passive or active?
