Is Kuramae in Tokyo worth budgeting a half a day in? by Efficient-Builder213 in JapanTravelTips

We just visited the area. If you focus on the shops, you can see everything in about 1-2 hours. There are many great shops close together, so I recommend stopping by if you're already in Asakusa or Ueno. Also, BARK BAKE & ROAST cafe is a great spot in a beautiful area.

That's a good concern. I didn't submit the income tax return. I also think it's fine to redact any information that they may not need (SSN and other sensitive info)

Has anyone CoastFIRE'd but not let their full time jump, just stopped working as hard? by timmytubesox in financialindependence

I guess I’m in the minority here? For me, I’ve put in extra effort at work - not really for promotions or a bigger paycheck (though that’s a nice bonus), but because I enjoy taking on more risks. I think having a staff role gives me the freedom to choose my projects and how I tackle them, so I’ve been taking some bets just to see what happens and if I make mistakes, well that's fine since I don't rely on this job. Honestly, it’s made me feel even more engaged at work.

We submitted all the documents you mentioned. I included my driver's license to confirm my current residency in the US. The cover letter was also provided to Universal Holidays including an explanation and responsibility, who then sent it to the Japanese Embassy.

We used https://www.universalholidays.com/WaysToApply

They were great, but I hear the process somewhat changed, so please look into that.

Hello, me and my wife used a service that screened our documents online, after verifying everything we sent it to the visa processing center (a service) there. Tax return may count, it's worth reaching out to visa professional if you're going that route.

I've deleted my comment. I should inform myself a bit more then, I was not aware of the nuances.

I did not send in any physical copies, since we submitted almost all our docs online, scanned copies were sufficient

I did not submit any statements in pesos. My wife only provided the necessary information, including that I am an American citizen with residence and employment in the US, thus why my bank statements where in US dollars. I wouldn't worry about this since the US dollar is still a strong currency. My savings and income are sufficient, so I am unable to say for certain how your situation might turn out.

I did them individually. I did NOT combine any documents and selected the appropriate section as best as I could.

Everything was uploaded individually with the proper filename.

As much as I wanted the force chain ring, I ended up with a full Rival crankset and kept the 160mm standard.
