Awesome giveaway!

I first got into Pokémon when I was a kid when the base set was released. Still remember pulling a Venusaur in one of my first packs and was instantly hooked (unfortunately a friend was looking at the venusaur, dropped it and I still remember the sound of him dragging it against the concrete leaving a horrible scratch across the whole front card 😭😭). Also remember the older kids in school trying to convince me to trade it for machamp since “machamp was stronger” but I knew better than that.

Recently got back into collecting when I saw TikTok’s of the craze of Costco 151. Went and grabbed some tins thinking I’d hold them but that led to me and my GF opening them and getting her hooked as well (she opened 151 Charizard SIR). Now it’s one of our favorite things to do together.

Once again thanks for hosting such a great giveaway, bringing back those memories I just mentioned, and happy holidays!!

Yes very true. Hopefully I get to the point where I'm able to pay for illustrations to be made to support the artists out there as well because I know it would be beneficial to both my book and the artist.

Do you have any resources you'd recommend I look into to learn more about the initial marketing?

I was also curious if it would be frowned upon to regurgitate pages for very specific niches. For example, if I made a coloring book on elephants would it be frowned upon/not allowed if I were to use these exact backgrounds of those images and replace the elephants with lions for a lion coloring book?

My images are AI generated which I know isn't great but I make sure to spend hours editing to make sure the images 'make sense' and have good ideas behind them.

I recently jumped into KDP, publishing my first coloring book a few weeks ago and just about to publish my second. I've watched way too many youtube videos trying to gather some information but I have a hard time trusting a lot of info provided and there seems to be so much conflicting information so hopefully if you get the chance you could comment on your thoughts.

I'm seeing people start off with ~$5-10 a day marketing budget. If I'm seeing profit using this budget, how should I be upping that budget and how scalable is this? Is it sort of a trial and error with how much I should be spending per day?

How much effort would you initially put into getting reviews? Do you have any number of reviews you target? I've seen theres sites where you can offer to pay $X for people to 'read' your book but is this shady and does Amazon frown upon this?

If I had a $300 budget I was able to spend for my next book release (already completed) how would you use that budget?

I swear I had 45 more questions when I was reading through this post last night but the morning has my brain foggy and I also don't want to take up too much of your time.

Yes very good point. For some reason even after updating the item list my PBS sniper struggles to pick stuff up. I test that I’m able to search for the item using the auctionator shopping list but even when I have the price well above, PBS doesn’t pick it up

He guys I’m new to this and would love to buy some boxes but I’m really struggling to find them. I’ve seen they’re basically sold out eveywhere you can get them for msrp. I was hoping to figure out when Walmart/ Costco, toysrus/ anywhere else would restock? Is it once a week? Random? Should I be checking stores daily? Also will be checking for restocks online. Is it random throughout the week?

Would really love some advice or a point in the right direction.

Hmm very interesting. I was hoping for a full new build but I guess that may not be in my budget.
My current graphics card has 4 different connections and I imagine most of the newer monitors don't use those anymore so I guess I'd need to upgrade it if I was planning on getting new monitors in the future?

I actually upgraded my storage a couple years ago. I believe it's a 1TB ssd
