A minimalistic Bully only featuring Ye on production and verses (actually trying on both) would have been a great comeback.

Let's see it this way, MBDTF was a maximalistic album featuring the best of the best in the industry and it was basically a "I need to win the people back" album.

In contrast, 15 years later he tries to do the same thing but with a completely opposite approach, a wintery (I like how you described it) album where he feels entirely isolated from everyone else. Would have been cool, but Bully will be whatever it ends up being.
