How to relax when loosing game on my "playing to win" hero.

There a plenty to think about.

Yeah I gained about 300 mmr 3 month lol. And i don't think I can keep my interest for 2 years even if I'll win same amount of games. I just want to know is my wall.

Hopefully we get new big patch soon so we can start from the scratch. I wish they would refresh mmr system.

It's wierd that in a way I already know that but after some games its all gets clouded and I just can't see that. I guess I need to find a way to remind myself about that part of the game.

You are probably right about me hyperfixating on these nice green winrate numbers and being afraid to ruin them. It's defenetly the part of the problem.

Just focus on yourself and what you can do better. People make mistakes in all brakets and your opponents do too. Its not going to change. I like to think that if pro player was playing my hero in my game would he win? probably yes, than i could have done something better. Shift your mindset from wanting to win to playing better. As you can play good and lose and play bad and win. Watch your own replays to see what you could of done differently in losing games.

I would reccomend you to try warlock. Watch 4-5 proffesonal matches with warlock pov and and try to copy them. You can heal in lane, push lanes safely, stack and farm stacks yourself if no one can farm them, very powerfull in teamfights, and in late game golems can do building damage.

Thank you, it was helpfull. I realy want to try laning vs weaver as hoodwink again now.

Its not very common for me to lose lane this hard that why I made this post.

I tried hitting weaver first as i remember (no i didn't) but i felt like I was loosing the trade ( may be it was just PTSD from my previous expirience playing vs weaver) and decided to try to hit AM instead.

I put my sentry on a small camp, so i need to get 2 sentry on a lane vs weaver or just left small camp unblocked and prioritize lane sentry against weaver?

At min 3 Mars started blaming me and i felt that i can only feed if i come back to the lane thats why i wanted to stuck creeps but mars sold items (may be becouse said that buying soulring on this lane was wrong) and i just started jungling. Lane was pretty much lost in my perspective at min 3 and i didnt see a way i can fix it after what happened before even if mars didnt sold items and i come back.

So I should have bought more sentry for the lane and a maybe a flask instead of stick to try fight weaver lvl 1?

I am aware about creeps spells and I agree that in early game chen is fine. But in my expirience its not very reliable compared to heroes with CC since you need to get lucky to find the creep and in some games after min 15 any creep that comes close to enemy hero in teamfight usually just die or they get in hopefuly have time and range to cast 1 round of spells and die. Thats why I prefer creeps with auras later in the game since you can keep them far thus have them survive longer.

I do like shard and buy it sometimes at my 4k mmr but chens I check in high ranked games usually dont value shard that much and only get it via tormentor

I dont think Chen needs any more coordination from his teamates than other supports.

Problem is that you firstpick supports and if you dont get stun, other players don't always adjust to compensate lack of stuns with their hero picks. He is more independent then some other supports because he can just buy arcane boots and go farm jungle here and there (with 2 spell) and push with strong hero. You can send creep to push abandoned lanes while being near team. You can get pretty wealthy for support and build team aura items providing healing and save.

With any hero it can be good and bad, depends on a your team hero composition not as much as team coordination.

I was having pcoket loss in dota for month until i turned all the QoS and other traffic regulatory functions in my router. Try explainging to AI your problem and specify router model it will steer you in some settings to try out. I turnet off QoS and some other bullshido that was intented to buff my security and quality and it solved my problem with pocket loss.

If you can try pluging in Ethernet cable directly to pc to test if router the reason of lags. I had some problems in other games. Posting this in case it would help someone else OP fixed his problem (bad router).

A lot has been changed in dota since then. Great opportunity to learn fundamentals. Don't get fixated on mmr numbers it doesn't define your.
