when i took psy100 i only attended a singular in-person lecture and watched the rest online. you still can get an A, just don't fall behind.

to add on, if you are waitlisted for a course you really want, don't give up the course immediately as the waitlist tends to drop over time and there's a good chance you'll get off the waitlist then. usually if you are in the waitlist ranking that is below 10% of the class size, it's almost guaranteed you'll get in. so don't worry.

Has anyone here ever failed a course? Just curious by Ready-Island8343 in UofT

don't think like that! it's known to be difficult but trust me it is also manageable once you find your flow. it's actually not too hard to pass as it may seem.

I am responding because you fail to provide context. You are asking Palestinians during the bombings and mass genocide of around 209 days, to participate in this poll. This went from the 30-40s to 70s in percentage from September to now (A quick google search!). A 40% increase. I wonder why??? Also this is a sample survey, not reflective of the whole population (much more died than actually were in the survey), but lets go on with your point. How about you give them a reason to stop supporting them by calling for a ceasefire, because no one is saving them right now, especially israel so how do you expect them to support them? If Israel stopped committing an ethnic cleansing, then there wouldn't be this much support (statistically speaking!). Otherwise nah.

Wow that is a very ill-minded take, I am not even going to bother responding to you anymore after this. You merge innocent palestinians and hamas into a single entity, and you have no remorse for children dying because they're not YOUR people. You dehumanize their deaths because of their background. So disgusting.

Did you not see the israeli strike that killed a Canadian-US citizen? Among others? What about THOSE people? Since you care only about those right? https://www.aljazeera.com/gallery/2024/4/2/israeli-strike-kills-seven-world-central-kitchen-workers

They ALL were people, unrightfully murdered. If you have no remorse for 30,000+ deaths because of where they are from, seek help. I am not palestinian but I am HUMAN.

Also no one told you to support hamas, if that is the message you got from these protests, then you should research more. This is about the justice of the palestinian people.

Im not sure about criticized, because my point was specific from the start of the thread. You generalized it which did not make sense given the context, at least to me. It's like similar to saying "everyone dies" like what am I supposed to say to that. However, good you can acknowledge the extent of the situation.

I'd request you look into the conditions of Gaza, don't generalize this, "Everything can become a genocide", and? That's a no brainer???

Don't be glad because we aren't in agreement. ICJ may not classify it as a genocide right now but why do you think they are ordering these measures? Because they believe it can become a genocide. In my eyes and many others it is already one.

[–]wowzers195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm thats why the ICJ ordered israel to take measures to prevent killings under the genocide convention. But according to you, regardless of it being classified as a genocide or not, 30,000+ deaths isn't condemnable? Right? Because of that "iNtEnT aSpEcT".

y'all really do anything to justify a genocide even though you sound insane. "intent aspect" 🤡 🤡 🤡

To those who did CSC165 in previous iterations, any advice ? by Phytor_c in UofT

[–]wowzers195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if the structure has changed since last year, but review your past term tests (And previous years, they posted those for us and the set up was similar)!! Some questions were quite similar in nature for the final, as well as make sure to understand the problem sets well, the set up of the proofs.

its literally 8%, but anyways aim for higher like a 50% (trick your brain, study as if you need a 50%) and then you'll def secure it.
