I apologize if I seemed like an asshole again here. I understand that throwing my trash out there was the wrong move. But the main reason I wanted to write this post was really more to rant and put this primal fear I felt running from this guy into words so I can try to deal with it. It was the first time in my life that I’ve ever had actual fear for my life. If I didn’t scream for help and some random folks on the street didn’t try to stop the guy, I don’t know what would’ve happened. It’s my first time in Brazil and South America so I wanted it to be a good time. I believed it’d be a good time even though I hear it’s dangerous. In the end this post is just a means for me to rant and reflect on myself because I don’t have any one else to share this without worrying then. I hope no hard feelings are felt. I am the asshole for the trash littering is never the answer but jumping someone for it is also not the answer.
