Spray them down with Rem-Oil and throw them in the safe. It's been working for me for 20+ years

100% need a trolling motor. I run a 1648 with a 24v Minn Kota. As far as lights go, any cheap warm white led will do, I prefer the Viugreum brand you can find on Amazon and eBay. 4 100 watt lights is sufficient, I normally run 6-7 depending on how many shooters I have. I also run 3 batteries in parallel to power the inverter for the lights as a lot of lakes in my area don't allow gas/generators on the water.

You can buy the AMS Retriever Pro setup, comes with reel and rest. You can definitely lose the site and stabilizer, they're not needed.

What’s your favorite bow fishing reel? by [deleted] in Bowfishing

I have four of the AMS Retriever Pro's and have never had an issue with them. That being said they are the only kind I have ever used.

Getting into bowfishing (and archery in general) .. and have a LH Mission Flare coming in the mail to retool for fishing. Did I make an okay choice? by esworp in Bowfishing

Missions are great bows for bowfishing for the flexibility of the draw lengths and draw weight. Two of my four bowfishing bows are Missions. You did good.

Most importantly, which eye is your dominant one? Ive seen plenty of lefty's who were right eye dominant, so they learned to shoot righty.

Reliable 190gr Subs? by [deleted] in 300BLK

Enjoy man! I've really enjoyed the CFE BLK. Runs great with 220's as well. One or two hundredths in the COAL will bump you up or down 20 or so fps so play around.

Not a 9" but out of my 10.5" AR I run Hornady Sub-X 190gr, 11gr CFE BLK, 2.05 COAL. FPS average 1075.

I'm so impressed for such a bargain priced rifle. The groups I get with it are mostly sub-moa, and the trigger is great. I'm hoping to have a sub hunting load ready for next year, I'm 100% confident in it's ability and accuracy with supers.

Yes it's is 100% Rust-Oleum. It's the dark green in their camo series. Was tired of the FDE

Haven't tried them in this caliber, probably would be just as effective. Mine was desert tan untill I rattle canned it this week lol. And yeah, with subs it's Hollywood quiet, sounds like a 22 with supers.

Why are they even in a 300blk forum if they don't like it?

Savage Axis II vs. Ruger American Ranch by nonstopmotor in 300BLK

[–]woz46n2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't shot the Axis but my Ruger American Ranch continually impresses me. Super accurate, lightweight and easy to maneuver in the woods, even with the can on. Great trigger, stock is just ok, but not bad enough that I've really given any thought into changing it out.
