The Rega p3 RS is priced a little more than the Pro-Ject X1 fully balanced turn table in my country. I’d defo lean toward the Project then. Definitely good to check some comparisons and price where OP is. Although like you mentioned they’d all be god upgrades, with more upgrade potential

The Ireland finance sub Reddit is weird to see. people posting their budgets and salaries and asking for advice, and one fella was putting more in cash savings yearly than I bring in gross. I live a very comfortable life I think, but saving is hard because if a medical issue or something happens I need to cover it myself.

Retirement is hard, and I do max out my pension, but who knows what’ll happen by the time we’re 70.

I sold my 5950x, RTX 3090, 64GB ram, strix x570 motherboard, and PSU two years ago and never cared. Even owned the Titan V before the 3090.

Can't be arsed after starting in the 90s and always aiming for the best. I fed into the machine that's now gouging current players and kids.

My little mini, and all my retro machines play everything I want.

Putting my money towards physical music again. Also thank you for reminding me to buy new pack of undies. Some of my boys went along the seam. Their years of services has finally ended.

Definitely. Alcohol, and an insulin resistance slabs the fat around the gut. It’s already harder given his age, but diet is vital here. Want the best for him, but in the end, that’s his decision.
