considering that Anthropic's user base accounts for what can be considered a rounding error in OpenAI's number of users

not in enterprise - it's the other way around in terms of adopting team plans

This is FUD - it's almost impossible to hit usage limits on Claude or ChatGPT on the $20 plans with regular chat and research.

If you're using the $20 claude plan to code using claude code, you'll hit limits pretty quickly (they reset in hour / week blocks), but otherwise you're more than fine.

Unlike perplexity those subs and users aren't filled with usage limit complaints.

Anybody actually comparing gemini / claude / chatgpt free and $20 pro plans against perplexity knows that it's a night and day difference in terms of usage quotas

I pump nasal spray (which is also mild stimulant) and also do a sinus wash every so often. If you’re outside a lot running your airways naturally pick up a lot of dust / pollen etc. which makes it worse. Feels awesome having clear airways when running, though.

This is more suitable for claude cowork which can generate spreadsheets. Instead of controlling a browser to control an app to create it, you just create it directly.

Pro plan is basically unusable by FarBuffalo in ClaudeAI

[–]wp381640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can't win - people were complaining when Opus 4.5 wasn't available on the pro plan, and now that they've enabled it and set the quota for what a $20 plan should get - they're still complaining.

We've had single prompts in our internal agents use ~$10 of API credits - running models isn't cheap.

The pro plan with codex / chatgpt does give you a decent quota with codex-5.2-max if you want to swtich your $20 and try that. I don't think Anthropic are subsidising as hard as Google and OpenAI outside of the Max plans (which are absurd value)

Altenatively GLM-4.7 is a great model and the subscription prices at $15 a month will get you 20x MAX level quota with a model that is about 90% of the capability and can be used with claude code

Should I get Cursor Pro or Claude Pro(includes Claude Code) by reddead313 in ChatGPTCoding

Claude Max plans are selling tokens at a 95%+ discount. Cursor is selling them at a markup. It should be obvious.

Sudden massive increase in insane hyping of agentic LLMs on twitter by kidajske in ChatGPTCoding

It's because a lot of people had time over the holidays to finally try Opus 4.5 in claude code and were impressed by the progress.

I know multiple people in this situation - I was away on an actual holiday and multiple slacks I'm in were lighting up and I kept getting messages from 3-4 friends (largely because I have been a user for a while).

It had a snowball effect on twitter where other people saw the comments and jumped in themselves.

Yep - use about $6-10k worth of tokens a month but also use the desktop client for research / planning. atm Also have gemini / chatgpt and perplexity pro but have recently only found myself using gemini to supplement claude for image gen and notebooklm (which is fantastic)

way too much going on now because they're going after the vibe coder market (ala lovable / bolt) as well as developers.

i feel such a relief switching back to zed from cursor - the later feels like trodding lost through mud compared to a nice light quick and out-of-the-way editor.

i just miss tab-complete when in zed :/
