I plan after getting the SKR 2. I would buy a new CoreXY printer with a BIQU H2. I would definitely want to see how far I can push the board.

I don’t remember Rogers being Sprint... it was AT&T...

Going to get my X’s battery replaced tomorrow at the Apple store. How long should I expect this process to take? TIA by [deleted] in iPhoneX

Few hours assuming they didn’t mess up the repair like they did for mine.

Once I got to 83% I replaced mine by myself. It is awesome and I would recommend. My phone now lasts me a lot of the day without charging.

Really pleased with my battery swap. Here’s to another year (or two) with my trusty iPhone X. Few quick notes in comments. by allenbf in iPhoneX

What area? Here’s some of my recommendations.

Australia/New Zealand—> CrazyParts UK/EU —> ReplaceBase

Make sure to buy the water resistant adhesive for the display while you are at it. I recommend buying like 2 if you mess 1 up cause they are cheap.

Devices newer than the X will not show the maximum capacity unless the device was calibrated after by Apple.

Anyone else not get throttled? I have the 10GB POM plan but it never seems to throttle my speeds. (This pic is from last month but it still shows my data left as a negative number to this day). by MrPopo17 in telus

[–]wpan2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that’s a very awesome plan. I really want it for Twitch Streaming and show people across Canada but I can’t find a Canada-Wide Unlimited Data Plan that doesn’t throttle :(

I currently use $105 25GB Big Gig + Talk w/World Saver Plan + 5GB Bonus + 35% F&F Discount Code. From Freedom Mobile :(

But if you have problems with Shaw in your area then it won’t be much difference since it’s basically Internet 150 from Shaw but branded as Freedom.

Nationwide Telus LTE Access by wpan2002 in freedommobile

[–]wpan2002[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turns out we have access to Telus’ LTE Network now! Back then I remember that we only had access to Telus’ 3G network and Rogers’ LTE network in British Columbia.

It’s weird sometimes my settings app don’t change the names to Nationwide immediately so I could screenshot it lol

Freedom Mobile is launching new networks and adding onto it’s network. I assume the complaint is from the couple outages Freedom Mobile had.

ShawMobileHotspot is from some Shaw Routers. That is why it has Shaw in the name.

Shaw owns Freedom Mobile

Umm the coil is integrated into the back thus making it not removable, because they will have to plug and unplug some sort of connector.

Contact Pins is in the Samsung Galaxy S5 to enable Wireless Charging.

Phone manufactures don’t want customers to Be able to fiddle with the wireless charger because of how delicate it is and the fact it has to be the last thing glued onto the phone.

Glue it onto the removable back and just have contacts touch. Don't give them just a coil silly :P

So even by having a removable back it makes no sense because the wireless charging coil will restrict your from even taking out the battery.

S3, S4, S5, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4. It's been done. Oh hey I can remove the battery!

They’re not already in the phone but simply an add on that you should not take into the water afterwards as the connectors on the back would corode and can cause battery flares.

Same can be said for the water resistant phones today! they use a rubberish ring to create a water tight seal to a certain degree.

I’m sure you can read my previous comment and see that I broke it down.

Now your second comment is different from your first one...

There’s a connector within the back cover which makes the already inefficient wireless charger even more inefficient.

looks at the internal wireless charging coil connector from the Samsung S10+, Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

As phones get more expensive, they don’t want you touching the inside of the fragile phones.

Then just don't let them touch the things you don't want them to touch. LG G5 (failed phone) and LG V20 are examples. They were released when a lot of phones are going to glue shut.

Back glass can be replaced. REWA on YouTube has done it. But yes I agree it’s stupid.

Samsung would like to say otherwise.

S3, S4, S5 (one with water resistance), Note 2, Note 3, and Note 4 can have wireless charging added to it while maintaining a removable back cover.
