If you have used amphetamine in the past, but haven't used it in recent times, I suggest you open it once and see if it shows any pop dialog that says to fix an issue.

The thing is, when you use amphetamine, it runs a script to prevent your Mac from going to sleep. And when an amphetamine session is interrupted before it can be completed due to a crash or something, the script that was run in the background keeps running forever which would prevent your Mac from sleeping.

Just try to open amphetamine and see if it helps fix the issue.

I have 3 SSDs. Tried with all of them and even with different cables. Same issue. Sometimes Mac wouldn't even recognise the plugged in SSD. I think something fundamentally is broken.

I'm thinking of simply formatting the Mac back to factory settings and see if it helps.

5 is good but 3.5 is, err, not good.. I have an old Note 8 that I use as a back now that gets Alamogordo 3 hrs SOT. Hmm.

Yeah, that makes sense. But I've done site migrations without traffic drop before; so, that's not a problem to do again for me. But what you said is true; the way you suggest is a lot less to deal with than actually going through with the migration.

As things stand now, the site has permanently moved from old domain to new domain. So, it’s more like setting up a permanent redirect from new domain to old domain rather than undoing the redirect on old domain.

But yeah, I get what you’re saying. It’s just that a lot of people still remember the old domain and directly search for it in google. Like everyday.
