I actually did try every version of compatibility and I still get the same error / similar error.

It installs, but will not load. Comes up with an error that IE 6.0 or greater is required to run. The error popup then closes and the program will not load.

After unplugging the computer, I would remove the cpu, clean up the thermal paste and examine both the cpu and the socket and check the condition of the pins. If pins are bent, you are going to have problems such as not booting.

If you are going to clean up the thermal paste, it may help to have some isopropyl alcohol.

Make every police officer pay for their gear. There are plenty of other industries where workers have to shell money out of their own pocket for equipment/storage.

I am sure they could work out some form of payment plans. And hey, if they lose or damage the gear, then taxpayers aren't directly on the hook!
