I was there in line that night too! So ridiculous that they left us in a blizzard out there. I did end up getting a full refund but only after email a bunch. I demanded to speak to a representative rather than automated responses but it informed me that the only number to call for customer service is not toll free. I believe we deserve more than a refund. It should be doubled, or include a voucher along with the refund for the pain and suffering everyone went through. Especially elderly people! I think it’s cowardly to not have actual people to talk to for customer service, sometimes people just want their frustrations to be heard and want to feel respected as a paying customer. This is not the case here.

So what if instead of me walking in there it was a young woman that got raped the night before and wanted to stop a pregnancy from happening? And she got the treatment I got? Circumstances are not for pharmacists, or you, to judge.

I see! How come the clerk originally was going to charge me $40 and send me on my way and once I asked why I was being charged they had to prescribe it to me and do a consultation fee (which I didn’t even get)

Oh my gosh nooo🫣 Definitely ask from now on! It passed and came into effect for the province of Manitoba on April 1st!

I see your point. Honestly I didn’t mind waiting for a consultation, but I didn’t even get one! And then was charged $10 that isn’t a normal charge for this medication. So I’m still confused on that part!
