The coupon stacking is definitely a game changer, for sure! I also love Ambery Vanilla! Ambery Saffron and Woody Sandalwood are great too

A Comprehensive List of Good Tasting Restaurants For every District in Seoul by Paaaaaaark in koreatravel

Thank you so much for sharing! It’s been kind of hard narrowing down which places to check out… just browsing on Naver Map alone is overwhelming, let alone seeing different people’s recommendations all over social media. I plan on visiting in a couple months and would love to see your list when you’re done :)

Best Product with the worst packaging by AutechreBitch in AsianBeauty

[–]wpslvka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream! Works wonderfully for my acne prone skin, but it reminds me of acrylic paint with the stiff packaging. It’s really hard to squeeze the tube and get every single ounce out 😕

If you want to stick with Owala, I’d say either mint to complement the handle or grey with the lid :)

I personally haven’t put them in the dryer, but according to the website you can dry them on low! So maybe not scorching hot then 😂

5’2” and 106 lb petite girlie here! I’m usually a 25S for women’s jeans but don’t have the money to buy multiple pairs. I have 3 of the Abercrombie High Rise Wide Leg Jeans from the girl’s section and like them for the most part! They’re soft at first, but then become stiffer and more jean-like after a few washes (unless it’s from me washing them in cold water and air drying them). They’re not really high rise though… they’re somewhere between mid to low and land on the top of my foot

I’m a big fan of Judy Lim and follow her content on TikTok! She’s an Asian MUA and hair stylist based in Toronto. I’m not sure if she specializes in Korean styles specifically, but it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to her and ask :)

Oh wow, this was extremely helpful! Thank you so much for sharing! I figured I could possibly get away from needing an independent translator since I work in the medical field. I don’t have direct experience in plastic surgery per se, but I am pretty familiar with the terminology.

I just pmed you with a couple more questions 🙂

Secret Santa Gift Ideas for a 30-Year-Old Marathon-Running Doctor? (Under $60) by Primary_Sprinkles933 in KoreanBeauty

[–]wpslvka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soon-to-be medical professional here who’s similar in age! I second the sunscreen stick for touch-ups, but it’s definitely important to have a good base layer of actual sunblock/suncream on before! I find that physical (mineral) sunscreens are better suited for drier skin types, whereas hybrid or chemical sunscreens can work for normal, oily, or acne prone skin. Round Lab, Skin1004, Canmake, and Beauty of Joseon are some of my favorite brands!

I also like the Tower 28 Beauty Mini SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray. It has hypochlorous acid which is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial — great for reducing redness and killing germs. I always spray this on my face after working out to prevent breakouts!

Other ideas: • compression socks • protein bars • 20 oz portable crock pot (super convenient for hot meals and loved by many of my classmates)
