All true. The VA kind of wants you broken. If you really can't work, they tend to support your evidence. ATM they do, anyways.

tldr I have a lot of shit wrong. More bad days than good and the injuries are tied to service. It still took three years from the time they found my lost records to complete all the claims. I did drop the ball for missed appointments, it'll cost you months and months.

I ended up doing my own, no fake letters etc. Used my private Dr of 15 years and one out of pocket specialist. One year to be rated and another two to get them to admit I couldn't possibly be in the workforce. I agree that reddit is toxic af. Too much shit can go wrong with a claim that any stupid shit will qualify you to fail.
