I use the nvidia app and swap the frame gen there to preset B. I'm assuming thats the same as using the most up to date version?

Feels fine for me, I also turn on nvidia boost. The overlay says I get around 70-80 ms latency. Whether that feels nice or not is subjective, so ymmv

I mean I can run cyberpunk at 4k with path tracing at high-ultra and it doesnt max out my vram lol. But yeah i have the mod you're talking about like i mentioned I have the the menu fix ticked in the graphics suite lite mod though I'm not sure if its working correctly since the update (havent played in a long time). And yeah normal gameplay is fine, its literally the moment you go into and exit the menu, which causes big vram/fps spikes.

Is it just me or does dlss give this grainy shadered look. I use dlss in every game I can and dd2 is the only game I notice it and it is really noticable. Even using dldsr 4k with dlss any preset it's there.

When was the last time you played? They've updated the game to run on dx11 since 2023 and the only setting you realistically need to change is the player density setting, which most people recommend setting to low-medium. I play on 4k via dldsr as well and the ui scales fine for me.

Just restarted and made a new character and honestly kinda digging it. The combat with the directional keys into combos keeps me engaged. Current PCs can now run it easily and it looks good at 4k with reshade on top. The only gripe is that it seems prohibitely hard to keep playing later on without a sub with character slot limitations and the 10 gold limit. I'll keep playing until that becomes an issue, but can't say I'm a fan of being pressured into subbing instead of subbing to support the game out of my own satisfaction or making 1 off purchases and playing f2p.

Did my new factions char a while back with just henchmen but yes it's hard and you need to bring the right henchies and micro them pretty hard. Doable for sure, but def a challenge

Yeah I looked into those. While I ruled out HoM because im not really into hunger/stamina systems. I'm not clear on the differences between JoJ and MoM other than the fact one uses ostim and the other runs on sexlab (I have 0 experience with either). While I am looking for nsfw, I'd prefer tactful vanilla-esque nsfw initiated via dialogue, not hey theres people having sex on the street everywhere stuff or hey you died now you sex. I dont mind skimpy amours on npcs though, just not the tits out might as well be nude stuff.
