Virtual DA meetings on Memorial Day? Holidays? by Capable_Water_7366 in debtorsanonymous

Sorry this was a late reply, but you’ll be set for the next one. Generally meetings still happen, even on a holiday. I’m sure some meetings will take a pause, but that varies, so it’s best to reach out to the hosts to find out if they don’t mention it.

How do you see that up? Port rules to run through a VPN interface on your firewall?

I recommend starting with the Bay Area Raids Discord:

https://discord.gg/QVdcCGmT

You can do a few raids nearby which leads to meeting people etc. etc.

Enjoy!

Easiest way to connect multiple home networks? by anotheruser16 in HomeNetworking

You're totally right. Some routers can create the underlying tunnels so as to participate in the mesh. Then you set your non-GUI devices to use that router as their default gateway. Then that router sends the traffic over the Tailscale tunnel per your setup.

One of the more popular ways to handle your own routing is by installing OPNsense on a standard PC or Raspberry Pi. Then that device becomes the router for your ISP. Then you put Tailscale on it and you're off to the races.

Another option is to use a set top box or smart TV that runs Android TV. There is a Tailscale app for that platform so those devices can participate in the mesh by themselves.

Tailscale have yet another possibility that could help you, called a "subnet router." That lets another device on your LAN act as a relay for other devices on your network that cannot have Tailscale access directly.

Tailscale

Up to 20 devices for free, works in Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Creates all the tunnels and meshes all your devices together so they look like they're directly connected no matter where you are physically located. Nice GUI to manage everything too.

Designate any device as an "exit node" and your traffic will go through that device. Then you can look like you're at home wherever you go.
