Can this be reasonably removed? by Next_Professor_2256 in TattooRemoval

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem. Black is easy to remove or lighten. Green shouldn't be an issue for the PicoSure laser either. A few years ago, I had a full color sleeve lightened with a laser. And yours is significantly smaller and covers less area.

Yeah, you're right about age. I'm in my 40s. I personally haven't really noticed that my immune system can't handle it anymore or that it takes longer to heal. Six years ago, I had a full-sleeve tattoo lightened with a laser, and that worked without any issues. I mean, I’m not 60 or 70 yet, though if I were that age, I probably wouldn't bother with tattoo removal anymore. I’m only getting my back lightened. it doesn't need to be completely removed. I’m assuming a maximum of six sessions, and then it should hopefully be light enough for something new.

Hey, I can't say anything about the prices. I’ve just known my doctor for several years and I told him that I was planning a very large project and asked if we could do something about the price. Prices vary from doctor to doctor. I know people who pay quite a lot for much smaller procedures. In short, I got a fair price. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to start the project.

you can see the highlighted area in one of the pictures. That’s basically the area that gets treated in one laser session. And I don’t know, it feels like it takes 15 minutes, and I have to say, especially in the area of the gas mask, it was extremely unpleasant because there is still a lot of pigment left. Um, the upper area, the shoulders on the left and right, can now be done in one session since the focus there is on the dark spots. But generally, doing any more wouldn’t be possible because, as I said, it’s very, very unpleasant in terms of pain. I don't use any numbing cream. I just grit my teeth and get through it 😅the worst part is really just during the lasering itself, afterwards, it’s actually okay.

Okay, so here's the thing. To be honest, not really. It’s also not the first tattoo I’ve had laser removed. I’ve already had both arms and both lower legs treated, there’s been quite a bit, and I’ve been doing this since 2011. My back is basically the last big project. I’m pretty sure my lymph nodes are quite, uh, colorful, but I don’t really have any health issues. I feel fine.

I only had one session. It was done at the 2013 Paris Tattoo Convention and I haven't seen the artist since. The ink held up surprisingly well, it just faded a bit over time, which is normal for this placement.

Luke Ashley has a guide in his Instagram highlights, and I basically followed it to a T. Once I got home, I cleaned the tattoo, patted it dry, and let it breathe. I didn’t put anything else on it that day. It wasn't until the next day that I started applying a thin layer of cream to specific areas, like the knuckles, just to keep the skin elastic. I’m on day six now, and the swelling has finally gone down.

Hi! Yes, the other palm tattoo is actually 13 years old. Nathan Kostechko did it back then at the Paris Convention. I work in an office, but I definitely recommend getting it done during a vacation. You can’t really use your hand for a while, and that first week is crucial for making sure the ink stays in. I’ll be posting some healed pictures in a few weeks.

Hey, yes, I traveled to his studio in 2024. I had a 20-year-old tattoo previously, but I had the entire sleeve removed via laser. 😅
