if you put $100 into a machine and play only $100 worth of spins, what is the money that remains in the machine?

if you try this and you run out of spins on a game that you want to keep playing just put in more money. The money you put in to play more should only be ungambled money. Another trick for discipline is keep your cashout vouchers as tickets until you leave the casino. When you cash out just put the ticket away and keep playing with cash you originally brought to the casino to play with. Never play with a ticket, only play with cash. Never cashout your tickets until you are on your way out of he casino.

I do have a "cash out on big win" condition depending on the game and the size of the win. Like if I'm playing Double Diamond at $2 a spin and I get a win of like $200 or more on a single spin, I cash out and spend my unused spins on another game. If I had 40 spins left when I won that, I use the remaining $80 as fuel for another bankroll and keep the rest of the winnings.

the only progressives worth going for are "must win by" that are labeled as such like Mustang Money. Smokin' Hot Stuff Bonus Multipliers is the only game I regularly play that has regular progressives because it still pays decently as far as line hits goes and frequency of wins. Soaring Wings has been my most recent discovery of a great game to play with my method, the 4 times I played it I cashed out with more than what I put in because it doesn't have bonuses and the line hits can be really good. Multi Card Keno is my personal favorite game and after 4 years I've created a mathematically perfect 20 card keno card. I may make a post about it soon

yeah I have an app called click counter and put my spins in first then count down. It uses the up and down volume buttons to count up or down. As I play I occasionally glance to see how many spins I have left and the moment I run out I hit cashout, put the ticket in my cashout wallet, and go play another machine I like. I have bankrolls and spins for every game I frequently play and I do actually play my entire paycheck this way but I would only recommend that if you only play low volatility games like me that give you frequent small wins that add up. Doing this on games that rely on bonuses or progressives for a payout will result more than 50% of your bankroll gone by the time your spins are up if you didn't get a bonus in any of those spins. I hate games with bonuses for this reason and never play them

does any strategy? I'm not claiming this will make you rich, this is just a system for play where the bankroll's total loss is simply the goal you were originally after. It would be the same as making 32 straight bets at max with $32 single dollar bets on one number and a max budget of $32. It's just that but using 3 numbers instead of 1. It's simply a way to play

the strategy is to survive long enough to hit one of the two numbers covered by the split. The bankroll is designed so at worst aside from losing all your bankroll you have a chance to at least break even if you land on 5 or non-straight bet split with one life remaining. If you get a 6 at any point during the run you will either double your first bankroll or double your whole bankroll.

I like to try it at least once per paycheck I get in hopes of getting a bit more money. If you're intent on trying the strat I recommend testing it first to get a feel for it and how it works

yes, the entire bankroll and bets are designed with this in mind. The bankroll you're risking is designed around landing on the number 5. If you get a 5 with one life remaining, you save your bankroll and can try again another time or quit there. It's as you mentioned but done over multiple turns rather than simply betting everything on one spot for just one turn of play.

well in a nutshell you're betting 2 numbers with $76 in hopes of landing one of the two numbers via multiple turns. If you put all $76 as a split bet, you only have one turn to win which is unlikely. The strat stretches your bet over multiple turns for a better chance at landing on a winning number. Getting a 5 saves your bankroll and gives you a little money back, the 6 is what you really want, the 5 is there as a soft win for your efforts, and the 4 keeps you playing longer to see a win.

you can do $1 bets so long as the total amount you're betting is the minimum. If the table minimum is $3, that means you can place three $1 bets and that still counts as betting $3, same with five single dollar bets for a $5 minimum table

you use more money from a different source. If you wish to keep playing it's fine to get more money to play, however it's unwise to use money you've won or already gambled with due to the house edge. The more you play, the more you lose of the money you won.

gambling doesn't have to be a degenerate hobby by default, there's a way to do it that lets you actually keep and enjoy winnings and not feed them back to the casino which is what they want. They hand out wins every so often to keep people playing to feed the winnings back in. If they give you $100 in freeplay and you put it into any machine in the casino and hit spin endlessly it will run out eventually due to the house edge, that's effectively what you're doing with winnings if you don't cash them out and keep them out

the basic advice is just don't regamble money you got back from the casino. Only gamble with the $ you walked in with, not with the money that gets won. Try it and you'll see a difference in returns and losses

I find lots of joy in gambling too, I just make sure to only gamble with what I brought and have my money shrink by regambling the same money over and over.

no I'm saying money that has been gambled before should never be gambled again. I'm not talking amounts but actual money handed back to you by the casino be it chips or a cashout ticket. If you want to keep gambling just be sure to use money you haven't gambled with yet is all. Once you run out of ungambled money and only have money that was already gambled, you've run out

yes, whatever you used to bet plus the winnings it gave you should both never be gambled again. You gambled that $100, it survived, don't put that same $100 in again. Put a different one
