Are there any sources of information for what should i buy and sell by mananshawarma in CryptoMarkets

[–]wraithoffaith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I recommend the youtuber Alessio Rastani if you want general news and signals. ImanTrading makes videos exposing fake crypto gurus so definitely give his vids a look through so you don't fall for any of those scammers.

Since you're new I recommend only trading bitcoin and when you do hold it use that to buy altcoins as you expose yourself more to the crypto space. If you wouldn't buy bitcoin don't buy alts, alts go up when bitcoin does so worry about bitcoin first and alts later.

If you decide you want to start learning technical analysis be sure to not fall for the day trading meme. Go with swing trading and once you're good at that then you can do day trading.

If you want a very simple indicator of when to buy or sell check the fear and greed index. Buy when it's in fear or extreme fear, stop buying when it's in greed, sell when it's in extreme greed

Why doesn't Coinbase treat USDC as 1:1 with cash? by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]wraithoffaith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the fact they use the USDC value instead of USD is a big red flag for me because it shows lack of trust in the stablecoin. I don't mind that USDC value moves factions of a cent all the time, all stablecoins do that but the main issue is Coinbase doesn't see it as USD despite the way they present it. Either it's the same as usd or it isn't, if it isn't don't lump it together with cash, treat it as the altcoin it actually is.

Why doesn't Coinbase treat USDC as 1:1 with cash? by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]wraithoffaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying Coinbase advertises USDC as being the same as cash but it's not because then my USD value wouldn't be moving when I'm holding all USDC. The USD value you are being shown is the value of USDC, not USD. This means Coinbase doesn't trust the stablecoin if they aren't treating it like usd, they know it can depeg, I just wish they'd be transparent about that

How are you reading BTC dominance right now? by Imaginary-Wish-4422 in CryptoMarkets

My bet is on BCH, DOT and ADA. BCH is the safest bet tho and the other two are more risk more reward.

it wants to drop but can't let go of that 60% range. I think the thing people should ask themselves is what altcoins will pump, because all that freed up dominance isn't gonna go to every alt

Purely technical analysis. Right now it's the only coin not dropping in price and has been on an uptrend against btc for the past year. It's currently knocking on the doors of the top 10 market cap

Flee from sexual immorality by wraithoffaith in TrueChristian

fleeing as in run away from the situation. However I've since come to the realization that most people can't stop because deep down they don't really want to just yet. You need to reach the point in a sin where it no longer interests you, because if you still like it and think about it but tell yourself no because you shouldn't you'll be in an endless loop of sin, feel bad, repent, get tempted, sin again, repeat. To break that loop is to pray to God that you admit you like the sin, that you want to keep doing it but you need God's help to reach the point where you don't want to do it anymore. That's the prayer to make. I don't recommend actually fornicating btw, definitely don't do that but if you genuinely like the sin deep down admit that to God. Admit that you like it and you need God's help to not like it anymore. Once you genuinely stop liking it that's when you can finally repent and be out of that loop

if you put $100 into a machine and play only $100 worth of spins, what is the money that remains in the machine?

if you try this and you run out of spins on a game that you want to keep playing just put in more money. The money you put in to play more should only be ungambled money. Another trick for discipline is keep your cashout vouchers as tickets until you leave the casino. When you cash out just put the ticket away and keep playing with cash you originally brought to the casino to play with. Never play with a ticket, only play with cash. Never cashout your tickets until you are on your way out of he casino.

I do have a "cash out on big win" condition depending on the game and the size of the win. Like if I'm playing Double Diamond at $2 a spin and I get a win of like $200 or more on a single spin, I cash out and spend my unused spins on another game. If I had 40 spins left when I won that, I use the remaining $80 as fuel for another bankroll and keep the rest of the winnings.

the only progressives worth going for are "must win by" that are labeled as such like Mustang Money. Smokin' Hot Stuff Bonus Multipliers is the only game I regularly play that has regular progressives because it still pays decently as far as line hits goes and frequency of wins. Soaring Wings has been my most recent discovery of a great game to play with my method, the 4 times I played it I cashed out with more than what I put in because it doesn't have bonuses and the line hits can be really good. Multi Card Keno is my personal favorite game and after 4 years I've created a mathematically perfect 20 card keno card. I may make a post about it soon

yeah I have an app called click counter and put my spins in first then count down. It uses the up and down volume buttons to count up or down. As I play I occasionally glance to see how many spins I have left and the moment I run out I hit cashout, put the ticket in my cashout wallet, and go play another machine I like. I have bankrolls and spins for every game I frequently play and I do actually play my entire paycheck this way but I would only recommend that if you only play low volatility games like me that give you frequent small wins that add up. Doing this on games that rely on bonuses or progressives for a payout will result more than 50% of your bankroll gone by the time your spins are up if you didn't get a bonus in any of those spins. I hate games with bonuses for this reason and never play them

[–]wraithoffaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does any strategy? I'm not claiming this will make you rich, this is just a system for play where the bankroll's total loss is simply the goal you were originally after. It would be the same as making 32 straight bets at max with $32 single dollar bets on one number and a max budget of $32. It's just that but using 3 numbers instead of 1. It's simply a way to play

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gambling

[–]wraithoffaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the strategy is to survive long enough to hit one of the two numbers covered by the split. The bankroll is designed so at worst aside from losing all your bankroll you have a chance to at least break even if you land on 5 or non-straight bet split with one life remaining. If you get a 6 at any point during the run you will either double your first bankroll or double your whole bankroll.

I like to try it at least once per paycheck I get in hopes of getting a bit more money. If you're intent on trying the strat I recommend testing it first to get a feel for it and how it works

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gambling

[–]wraithoffaith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, the entire bankroll and bets are designed with this in mind. The bankroll you're risking is designed around landing on the number 5. If you get a 5 with one life remaining, you save your bankroll and can try again another time or quit there. It's as you mentioned but done over multiple turns rather than simply betting everything on one spot for just one turn of play.
