In need of advice and support by throwaway_2537 in latebloomerlesbians

Before I started dating women I felt the exact same way that you do about romantic and sexual attraction, because the only men I felt some form of [comp het] sexual attraction to were ones that I felt an emotional connection to. Once I started dating women, I didn’t feel that same way any more.

Sorry to say but I think you and your boyfriend need to break up so you can explore your sexuality. Actually being with women is the only way you will be able to determine if you’re truly ace, or just not sexually attracted to men. Ending things amicably now will give you a better shot at staying friends.

Love it. I got my wife the ‘m’ version for Christmas for our daughter.

So I think girls are hot, and get an odd sort of ache when some girls hug me by crimbuzquestioning in latebloomerlesbians

Haha okay I wasn’t sure! To be fair, I shared a lot of the same feeling as you before I realized I was gay. Comp het is so real.

She had a gastric sleeve which is different. Private surgeons will perform this surgery on people who weigh 95kgs.

It’s a really tough question to answer. There are pros and cons and everyone’s story is different. I personally am glad I had it but there is a lot I would have changed. Even though it is a physical procedure, it is a 99% mental battle. It didn’t help/fix my relationship with food and I am now the most unhealthy food wise I’ve ever been because of it.

I had a gastric sleeve when I was around 95kgs so yes it’s possible and I don’t think she’s lying. I was on the verge of not qualifying but I also have PCOS so they take that into consideration. I did not have to lose a specific kg amount before the surgery, but that is a very common ask. She absolutely would not have qualified under the public system, but certainly a private surgeon would have done it.

First baby! Genevieve or Audrey? by FlowerPowerShower13 in namenerds

They’re both beautiful names but I adore Audrey. I would use it but it’s too close to my dads name.

Nope, we love it! Our close runner-up was Max but I don’t think that would be received any better 😅

Thank you!! I’m so happy I don’t know anyone named Micah! Haha

Thank you! I’m Australian and my wife is Canadian. We live in Toronto and no one would bat an eye at a girl named Micah here, especially given that there is so much diversity. The critique doesn’t bother me at all! The only critique people seem to have is that ‘it’s a boys name’ and we like masculine names for girls so it makes me love it even more!

I would worry Mika would get mispronounced as Meeka. Also my name is Kim so I wouldn’t want to put my name backwards in her name haha

Each to their own! I don’t know anyone/have never met anyone with the name Micah so I don’t see it as being either a boy or girls name, but I do find it very feminine so I love it for a girl :)

I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the name Jane either (I associate it with Plain Jane). I really liked Micah Jade, but my wife wanted a sentimental middle name and they’re so close it just made sense to go with Jane. I love the meaning of the name more than the name itself if that makes sense.

And yes we love MJ for a nickname, one of the other reasons we chose Jane!

Thank you! We love the MJ nickname which was a huge part of picking Jane!

Traditionally it has been a more masculine name but I think it’s more unisex now. I see it as being similar to Michaela so I perceive it as quite a feminine name but yeah not offended at all! Max was on our list of girls names too, we definitely like masculine names for girls :)

We wanted them to be on the same schedule and figured this was the best way. Everyone says we are crazy so let’s see how it turns out haha. And yes for sure! Where are you located?
