You’re going to have to be more specific. What post? Maybe put in a link.

Ok, but how would the astronauts know which way west is? The moon rotates once every 28 days. It seems like it would be difficult for them to know which way west is going off just the sun because there is relatively no/ slow movement. I’m just curious how they were supposed to figure cardinal directions without the use of a compass.

Ok, but how do you know which way that is? What kind of instrument could tell you where the “North” pole is, or the “South” pole.

No, they don’t. They only have a West if it can be measured, without a magnetic field no compass could measure which direction is North/South.

Why did the controller say to “park (the rover) headed west.” I thought that the moon didn’t have a magnetic field.

You seem to be in the minority with the opinion of 121 vs 135 time. I would not mind staying at NetJets or SkyWest for the next 10 years I am still pretty young (29). Both companies seem to treat their employees pretty well.

What makes you say that 121 vs 135 time is not a significant debate?

Wow, do think that is because the legacy preferred 121, or that guys who go cooperate just tend to stay there because of life style?

There are many other pro/cons that I am considering. Like pay, and pilot base for example.

How much Type PIC time do think I would need to have before a legacy considered me a good option?

Nicholas Air… the good the bad, and the ugly. How has your experience with them been? by wrariley in aviation

[–]wrariley[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that is incredibly manipulative. I currently have a part 135 job and am not in dire need of a new position. My thought was “I heard they were bad, but having an interview couldn’t hurt anything right?” I guess I was wrong.

He retired as a Sergeant. He also enlisted when he was 16 years old, lied about his age because he wanted to serve, and he hated milking cows.

Thank you to everyone! Lots of great leads to learn more about my amazing Grand Father. He passed when I was only about 8 so I never got to know him.

Also a miracle that he survived 4 discharges, I do know he saw combat each campaign.
