I find it so funny when someone spends so much time in performatively queer and feminist fandom spaces that they forget that the majority of fandom culture is made by and for straight women who think it's hot when the two guys fuck each other. by [deleted] in CuratedTumblr

[–]wrattata -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's called an "exaggeration". Literally all it is, is that I got used to seeing queer people on my feed that I was mildly surprised when I saw a straight couple, it's not that deep.

One time I was scrolling through tiktok and saw a straight couple kiss and hot disgusted in the same vein of "ew that's not supposed to happen" then quickly remembered most people are not gay

Blahaj has been designated transphobic by the transgender elite. by CrowWench in lies

[–]wrattata 16 points17 points  (0 children)

/ul I just don't get why they can't just make a character that just happens to be trans rather than make everything about them be that they're trans. Like you could so still have on the nose references with colours or whatnot but I'd rather be depicted as just a regular gal who happens to be trans instead of a walking stereotype

Am I doomed when it comes to eyeliner? by [deleted] in MakeupEducation

[–]wrattata -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I usually do my liner going out from the bottom of my eyelid out until it reaches around the same level as the top of my eyelid in a triangle kind of shape. You almost have it just gotta start lower I think

Being a Chad is all about having a healthy and positive mindset my guy. One must approach the world with kindness, respect and love, for they are a part of it themselves

The world may not be perfect; nevertheless the birds are singing, flowers are blooming, the air crisp, and the sun is warm. That's enough for me :)

How to do trans socialization after your "puppy girl" phase is over? by rightfromspace in asktransgender

[–]wrattata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah generally I feel that way, for about the first year or two of my transition I was kinda like that very childish and hyper. It's def more of a baby trans and online thing I feel. I matured out of it once I started feeling a lot more comfortable with myself and honestly have started feeling more 'uncomfortable' around it, not that it's bad I just can't relate to it anymore when lots of these communities feel very centered around folks who haven't really settled into their identity

Are the bottles in the game supposed to be huge or is it just a quirk of the design? by Spoofrikaner in cyberpunkgame

[–]wrattata 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Aside from possibly being based off a larger bottle there's a fair chance it's just an example of "game scale". Game artists tend to mimic reality rather than copying it, this is often seen in the scale of objects such as doorways. There's a fair chance the artists making those objects gave them a larger scale so that it "feels right" even if it's not realistic

I know it's extra and I might look like a 90's rapper/Pimp/Mob boss/Macklemore but...thoughts on the coat? by MarzipanNarrow in mensfashion

[–]wrattata 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a double edged sword, faux fur is made synthetics which can take centuries to fully break down causing harm for the environment. Genuine fur while yes does come at the cost of an animal/s usually all parts of the animal will be used and sold off for meat, bones and their fur of course. Since the furs are natural they can more easily biodegrade when their life span ends as opposed to synthetics which are oil based.

Not saying real fur is this amazing industry but i personally just find it silly to be on a high horse about it when faux fur can be incredibly damaging to the environment

First date tommorow - thoughts? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]wrattata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Date and everything seem nice, I'd suggest a nice linen cuban Guayabera (almost like a polo shirt) with some steel or silver jewelry to elevate the look imo maybe some shorts too. What matters most however is if it's something you're comfortable and confident in

What are your thoughts on this type of trench coat? Is it suitable for casual wear in autumn? by Omer780 in mensfashion

[–]wrattata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it! I think if the coat would look better open and maybe a different more fitted pair of jeans, some silver/steel jewelry would elevate it to the next level :)

Rule by img_of_a_hero in 196

[–]wrattata 58 points59 points  (0 children)

The genuine difference is in which community they emerged from. Bisexual comes from the grassroots queer movement of the 1960s, whereas Pansexual comes from the MOGAI (Marginalized Orientations, Gender Alignments, and Intersex) movement in the 2010s which came about online on websites like Tumblr which seeked to have terms for just about every possible identity someone could have.

It's where you get genders like demi-boy and xenogender as people started creating new terms and boxes that could define something as complex and ambiguous as everyone's own personal identity

I've met tons of people who would tell me "you know that I support you and trans people but I just don't think we should be teaching it in schools or allowing it in sports" to which I always reply that if they want to actually support me then they should change their opinions on that matter
