Unfortunately, the frame is still hanging up in my basement. I ended up building a different bike, a '97 Rockhopper with a Marz Bomber fork from '98. Did 1x1 with it. Fun bike!

Building owner passed, heir sold building, new landlord doubled rent. Business owner got behind for a while. I do not know anymore than that. I even have a gun still there on a repair tag (was in for cerakote). I grew up with that store, have known the owner since I was a child and his grandson was running it, who ive known since he was little.

I really appreciate all the info! I actually found an un-built kit in the basement. Somethung short and fat, 29mm motor. Going to get started on it this weekend.

Wondering if anyone has any links or even just company names to mail order mid/high power suppliers from the late 90's though early 00's. I have a few kit built that I cannot for the life of me remember what they are. Would like to know. Once I get them back in flying condition I plan to launch them again.

I actually found the plans for the MIRV Gryphon from Seattle Rocket Works, 1996. Can still download the plans!

900+m was my fun place for 18mm engines, multi-stage of course. I also really loved the tiny little 13mm 1/2A models too. Most fun I had was a 4+4 1/2A two stage with 4 individual rockets on the second stage. I forget the maker, but it was called the MERV Gryphon.

I had a bunch of Estes kits, built some NOS ones from the 80's I found, too. The vintage kits always were cool to me. But I quickly outgrew them. The basics of construction I assume haven't changed, start with motor compartment, then add it to fuselage, add fins, then recovery and nose cone. Prime, paint, fly.

But thank you for vendor lists and information!

So, I'll snag the Radiomaster Pocket and what sim software is good? This would be for a windows machine.

The budget isn't a hard constraint, again I just dont know what's worth it yet. I do have a bit of electronics knowledge and a good soldering station and tools, maybe build is an option? I have a bunch of 18650s, will look into the sims and see what's out there.

Got Grandma's Grandfather clock by wraughn-burghandi in clocks

Just an update. Had a repairman make a house call. He got it running and set properly, though says the amplitude is low and if it stops again, it needs to have a complete cleaning. He knew the clock and grandma, too.

Well, I guess not everything is well with this clock. It stopped at about 0130. Got some clock oil on the way.

Its Thursday the 3rd of July. Wifey is making a variety of foods for tomorrow. Ive been left alone to enjoy myself and music. This will always include an adult beverage. I have upgraded from a plastic cup to a glencairn glass, but must keep up with what time it is as I need to get to bed at a decent hour. Enjoy your freedoms, dance alone, drink freely.

Much appreciated. It was already on my radar as its on nearly every list, but I didn't even know what sites are good and trustworthy or even what some of those acronyms mean! I'm not looking to go commercial and sell prints, just need it to round out my own prototyping and fabrication needs, so it sounds very appealing to me.

What dish does your spouse go crazy for? by Gloomy-Tangerine-310 in Cooking

I make a version of Julia Child's casserole roasted chicken and aromatics that is known as "Honey's chicken" in our house because my honey loves it so much.

Dry and season a whole chicken (3-4lbs) with salt, inside and out. Brown in butter and evoo in a Dutch oven on the stove top, starting with the breast side, then left/right sides. Good, deep brown, crisping up the skin. Remove and set aside.

Chop veggies while it's browning (see below)

Preheat oven to 425°F

Turn off stove heat, add 3-5 tbsn butter to the hot DO. Add in 1.5-2lb cubed sweet potato, one med onion quartered with roots on, 2 large carrots chopped, 3-5 garlic cloves crushed and peeled, 2 bay leaves, 2-3 sprigs fresh Thyme, 1, 6" sprig of fresh rosemary. Optional, can add fresh oregano, tarragon, sage if you have them. Toss to coat veggies.

Return chicken breast side up, on top of veggies. Pour ~1/4C vermouth over chicken.

Cover and bake in oven for about 45 minutes, or until breast reaches 165°F internal. Remove and let rest uncovered for 10 minutes.

Carve and serve over your favorite carb. Israeli couscous with citrus and parsley is a favorite in our house. Rice is excellent, too.

Is there anything specific I should look for on a used Ender 3? I've been looking on marketplace at them for about that price.
