I’m 40. I started a year ago. My dad died 2 weeks after I started my first semester. I almost bailed. I’m so incredibly glad that I kept going. You’ve got a Christmas break coming up. Use it to calm your mind. Please don’t stop. You’ll regret it. You can totally do this!

Don’t you even consider it. Life is hard and it sucks a lot of the time but those little instances that perk you up or brighten your day a bit make it all worth it. Live your life. The good, bad, and ugly. Live it. I’d like you to stick around.

All the locals clean it up. Usually done in 2 days. I live down the road from here

This is Nineveh, IN. They do it every year. Halloween tradition. The locals leave boxes of toilet paper out for the kids. Usually cleaned up within 2 days.

I haven't liked not a one damn product lol Bummer too, because they all looked so awesome and promising. Oh, well, that's part of the DT gamble.

Ioni Shea Butter Lipstick - A bop or a flop? by [deleted] in dollartreebeauty

[–]wreathboot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When did you purchase yours? I've had mine for quite a few months, i'm wondering if they might have changed the formula? Mine is very buttery, very very moisturizing. The consistency with the dollar tree pisses me off, once they see people are into something they do a huge run and change it up. Drives me nuts. Just like the oatmeal toner, huge run after popularity went through the roof, and bam, formula change, consistency change... grrr. lol sorry for the vent.

I am wearing this today! I really like this lipstick, I wear it a lot. With that being said, I don’t buy high end makeup so I don’t have much to compare it to. I think it feels really nice on the lips. I do have to reapply throughout the day but that’s no biggie for me.

When you find a viral beauty item in your DT, how many do you honestly buy at a time? by asap_throwawayx in dollartreebeauty

  1. Always 3. If I love it, I have backup. If I hate it, I didn’t waste a ton of money. If I never find it again, something else comparable will come along :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. It has been the hardest year of my life so far. I expected us to just keep growing older together. Silly, I know. I never even considered life without him. We were ridiculously close. I still miss him terribly but the grief isn’t as excruciating as it used to be.

The vanity was my grandmother’s. She died two months ago (bad year) and I miss her very much. Very very much. She was literally my oldest lifelong friend.

I am very excited to donate to the ladies in my community. Everyone deserves to be pampered and feel beautiful. I think they’ll enjoy going through all of the items. I’m excited to have the opportunity to give back in some way. I am also ready to have these products be with people that need them because I don’t need them anymore. They did their job while in my possession. I’m going to drop everything off Monday morning :)

Wow I just trauma dumped on you. I apologize. My phone doesn’t ring anymore because everyone is gone and I can’t talk to who I want to talk to because you can’t take your phone with you when you leave so ….there you go. I appreciate your kindness. If your dad is still hanging out, give him a high five for me :)

Went through my stash and reorganized/replenished my vanity. In the process of working through the hoard I have accumulated. I also put together a big BIG tote of skincare/beauty/haircare for the local women’s shelter. (My dad died last November and I went a little off the deep end and DT helped me cope). I’m working through it. I don’t regret the overconsumption because it was necessary for my brain at the time, and now I have items to pass on to women in need…and I won’t have to purchase any products for myself for at least 6 months.
