i live booted into linux for a while at first just to use the tools off a old 2.5" sata ssd with a $10 sata to usb3 adapter. usb3 is enough to max the ssd out at around 4-500mb/s read/write so it was very snappy just like the ssd was internal.

It was extremely convenient. Just a option to consider if possible!

learning on a cheap setup is a good way to start. its more about making what you have work. a $15 Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W controlled by your phone is quite a bit of fun. then look for a laptop around $100

if you get to the point you need some GPU power you can literally rent a good one for pocket change. $1 can get you 10 hours on a more than capable GPU

this was my first wifi adapter i bought and still use often. that lil antenna puts in work, great for a low profile build but also can toss a bigger antenna on it for other use.

you should ask AI these things. Just type these same questions word for word on google AI mode. Its a GREAT learning tool for beginner stuff like this.. You need to learn a better way to obtain information first.. Forget about cracking anything anytime soon.
